Nothing special to add to all the other ambivalent encomia already shovelled onto this mess of a film. Lots of good ingredients that add up to nothing but unintended laughs.

Fast cars, explosions, naked chicks for the guys, naked Swayze for the girls (and for Swayze himself), and of course, superb fight sequences. The story and the total absence of police are simply ludicrous.

Funny thing is, when Dalton's bouncer-mentor turns up to help, about halfway through the movie, he's so much cooler than Dalton you want to skip the plot and just tag along with him. An opportunity wasted.

Definitely one to put with other films you reckon are good because they're bad.

Over earnest, intermittently dull, and with an excessively embellished musical score, Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius is still pretty entertaining, and golfing fanatics are going to totally love it. Other viewers certainly don't have to know anything about golf to appreciate the film because the pleasure in watching is leaning all about who Georgia born golf legend Booby Jones actually was, and also watching actor, Jim Caviezel do a terrific job of bringing the highly moral, focused, and often-reluctant star golfer to life.

Bobby Jones was the only man ever to win the four major tournaments in one year. A man of integrity, he disliked fame, hated the thought of playing for money, and was the consummate gentleman amateur who won simply ... Read More:

This is a classic slice of cheap and cheerful 80's horror, where the police are on the tail of a Jack the Ripper copycat. James Spader is the main reason to watch this film, he is a superb actor and he really makes this film worth watching!! I really enjoyed this, it's great fun and couldn't be more 80's if it tried!! I know James Spader has many fans out there and I advise them all to watch this if just to see a glimpse of him looking his sexist as Richard Wesford!!

Verdict: Fun and worth a peak if your a Spader fan!!

You'd probbaly be better off with a true movies box set than this.
I see that some people are selling this for £1.13, don't bother that's way overpriced.

I am not a great fan of thrillers, but after James Spader and (director) Rowdy Herrington's previous collaboration, "The Stickup", I was eager to see this. It is not as good as "The Stickup", but, in my humble opinion, very few films are.

The plot contains at least one twist that made me gasp with shock even the second time I watched the film. The script contains just the right balance of languages for English speakers who have never learnt Spanish to feel they are getting a flavour of Mexico whilst still understanding what is going on. It is a pity, however, that Spanish subtitles were not offered on the DVD.

The set decorators are to be congratulated on the Mexican village.

The hair, make-up and ... Read More:

Lawson Russell (Cuba Gooding Jr.) lawyer and aspiring writer is critiquing book for an aged man who dies. There he comes in position of a manuscript for a novel about several lawyers being murdered. He published it as his own. His novel is a great success.

There is only one catch; these were real deaths and only the writer of the novel could have known the details. So the writer must be the murderer.

To further complicate things there is no record of the dead novelist.

We have seen this primes several times but very few are this well acted.
