I think this is an excellent prequel to Scorpion King. The young heroine is awesome. I really enjoyed the movie and have watched it over and over.

On the face of it, I shouldn't have enjoyed these three. I'm not a fan of zombie movies, generally finding them deathly boring, and I don't play video games, so I came to these movies completely uninitiated in the RE universe.

But I have to say that I found all three RE movies extremely enjoyable. Are they high art? Of course not. But for what they are, they produce the goods. I think the addition of a fairly solid plotline and generally rounded out characters lifts them above the average zombie movie.

My only complaint is that in RE3 we are never told what happens to most of the surviving characters at the end of RE2. With the exception of Alice's love interest, who reprises his role, the others are simply forgotten ... Read More:

This is the type of movie you can't help but enjoy. It's daft but a great spectacle, plus it has Sean Connery, good one liners and the action rocks. What more can you want?

I was not offended by the language, subject matter or vulgarity. Yeah it was full on but so what? What I was appalled by the poor video and audio quality and above all the sleep inducing 'comic' meanderings of two supposedly funny and clever men.

This is utterly self-indulgent, passe and simply not funny. Dull! Dull! Dull!

A great film which I really enjoyed after buying it for my dad's birthday after recently buying the pinball. It was great fun to hear the quotes from it in the film.

It was a most unusual film that is very original from my point of view.

A good watch for people who want to see something unusual.

This is a huge let down. As the bad guy, Michael Ironside does a pretty good job but the movie is such a stinker it floats in the water. Avoid.

I found the willingness of the human race to 'take a pill and have done with it' the hardest thing to swallow in this film - that and a pretty hackneyed script and some fairly dodgy acting. If I knew a cloud of radioactive dust was heading my way - and I had several weeks to do something about it - well, I'd get digging!! Instead we are supposed to believe a nation of gung-ho Aussies spend their last days trawling the internet and tuning into the radio for scraps of information as the cloud of death creeps ever nearer. There is some hilarious product placement in this film as well. What would you like to do if you only had 24 hours to live? Drive a Ferrari of course? And how would you like to drown your sorrows? Hmm with Corona beer! Apart from that, this film does succeed in making you think ... Read More:

I don't care what anyone says, for me 'Highlander' sits alongside 'Blade Runner' as one of the most original and best directed sci fi adventures of the 1980s.
Watching it after twenty years, it still maintains it's freshness.
Ok, having a French American playing a Scot (Conner Macleod) and a Scot playing an Iberian (Ramirez), might seem like wildly offbeat casting, but somehow it works. Christopher Lambert comes out of the movie as an excellent and sympathetic lead, who you have no problem rooting for throughout the picture. Sean Connery gives the movie some real star quality and charisma, and bad guy Clancy Brown makes a wonderfully psychotic, menacing villain. It's a shame that the female lead isn't as engaging a character as the wife Macleod outlives in the Scottish highlands, but that's ... Read More:
