This installment to The Shield saga is just as good as the others have been. Right away you are introduced to the IAD rat Kavanaugh, who is only as brilliant as he is detestable, and unsurprisingly excellently portrayed by Forest Whitaker. Kavanaugh relentlessly pursues the Strike team for their numerous misgivings throughout the previous four seasons. Vic, Shane, Lem and Ronnie seem to have put all differences behind them at the start of the series, but as Kavanaugh sinks his teeth into every potential lead, the team suffers, and the always loveable Lemanski is exposed. All the shocks, squirms and grit are still there as you would expect from this masterfully written and shot series, and the story gets stronger as it lurches towards its ... Read More:

Not many series that started out great can keep the high standard in later seasons. Well, neither does the shield. It just keeps getting BETTER. Unique acting abilities (I'd give ALL the cast OSCARS for their performances) combined with the best story writers in history, this is the BEST SERIES EVER. AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!

This movie has had some really bad press and some really scathing reviews and are they justified?Well,to be honest no they're not.
A lot of people seem to think it's a travesty to remake Michael Caine's classic 1971 movie simply because they like it so much, but to be fair a lot of those early reviews were actually written by critics who had never actually seen this version.
I have always liked the original movie, but, now this is where I am going to be contraversial, this version is just as good in it's own right.
This is a very stylishly made film and Stallone's performance is easily one of his best.
It's beautifully shot,it has a great score (even paying homage to the original)and a wonderfully witty cameo from Michael Caine. ... Read More:

This has to be without doubt the WORST film I have ever seen, and I am not exaggerating. I feel so strongly about it I had to write a review. That said, I suppose it might be interting to see just how bad films can be. Though on second thought, it's not worth it...I would sooner eat poo than watch this again. :)

The special effects are laughable, as is the acting. There is no suspense whatsoever. I sat with my head in my hands for most of it, through sheer bordom. And don't get me started on the extras!

And the worst bit? A SEQUEL has been made!!

If you've watched and enjoyed David Finchers "Zodiac" and want more, then The Hunt For The BTK Killer is for you.

It's factual, it's exciting and sad to say it's all true. Okay so it's not quite as good as Finchers Zodiac but there was less to work with. Zodiac is an hour longer because there is so much more information to give you. But don't let that put you off, everything you need to know about the BTK Killer can be found in this great film.

this film is a good insight into the effects of drug use and the impact and change it can have on a person's life. It also shows how much tradgedy can come about over it and hopefully will put others off it.

DVD : The Last Time I Committed Suicide [1998]
This film was nothing like how i expected it to be. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was filmed and it's classic feel, which is aided by the fim starting in black and white. It's set in the 1950's and the soundtrack definitly reflects the beat generation. The story is about a guy called Neal (played by Thomas Jane) who leaves his girlfriend after she commits suicide as he thinks she is dying. Neal meets up with an old friend Harry (The very lovely Keanu Reeves) to play pool, drink and fool around with young girls. You see a different character played by Keanu, which is quite refreshing from his latest superhero role as Neo in the Matrix trilogies. I found this film interesting, and quite different in its style. Definitly one to try!
