Even though this movie is not up to date in today's CGI Animation productions, it was still one incredible film!!! I strongly suggest this movie to all retro/old school Guyver and Power Ranger fans. All In All This Movie Is Definately Worth Seeing.

well, for starters i'd never heard of Mark Dacascos or Kadeem Hardison, but lets say i was blown away. Mark isnt one of those wooden action actors, not by a long shot, man, he can act!! The fight scenes have to be some of the best ever and you'd never know it was made in only 6 and a half weeks, its so polished. Plus it was also made on a $3.5m budget, but it looks excellent. My advice is to buy it and see for yourself.

The Guyver was released in Japan in 1989, but released by Manga Video in the UK in 1994. As you can see, Japan is five years ahead of us in everything they do. Especially 'cartoons.' The Guyver is possibly one of the best sci-fi anime next to the likes of Akira, Ghost In The Shell, and (shutters)... DBZ. It also has a uniquely dark, embryonic atmosphere that alot of anime don't have... and is pretty scary if you're a kid and watching it. If you like cartoons and sci-fi, get it.

i really enjoyed this film,as a huge guyver fan,its got fighting,gore,and some romance for people who like that although the bit in the middle is a bit boring but the start and the ending when the guyver fights the guyver zoanoid is the best fight .I recommend this to any guyver fans..

Pleasently surprised by this 1,hadnt heard of the lead b4 Mark Ducascos but was impressed by his kung fu/action skills ok acting,nice performonce in the comedy buddy role by Kadeem Hardison.Simalar in plot to the jackie chan Rush hour movies,but 4 me better than them.A very entertaning well made movie,possibly the best kung fu themed movie to come from outside asia.Good value.

I have seen both the uncut and the edited version of "The Guyver", and of course the uncut version is the better of the two. Steve Wang captured the true essence of the Manga series, but he obviously had a poor budget judging by the costumes they used for the zolanoids. He did however make up for this with some exceptional martial arts and an "easy to get into" storyline. The story picks up where (the by far inferior) "Mutronics" left off. David Hayter plays the lead character Sean, and is a far better screenwriter (He wrote the first and co-wrote the second X-Men films !!) and voice actor (He is the voice of Solid Snake in the "MetalGear Solid" game series !!) than he is a screen actor.
