I finally got hold of the new 'Second Barrage vol 2' dvd,and WOW!..really! its sooo good. Somehow they managed to turn the action up to 11!..bullets fly everywhere,buildings burn,cars explode,and lots of Bounty Hunters & wannabes trying to get a slice of the action into the bargain! All four episodes are full of action,but the first two really stand out as being full of gunplay goodness! Each episode also shows us more of the charachters relationship with each other,especially Rock and Revy in the later episodes- which is always great fun! Overall, another great Black Lagoon release..and worthy of your money. Id have to say that for me this series is easily up there with the likes of 'Cowboy Beebop' ... Read More:

All the points the previous reveiwer says are valid..but faaaar too long winded. .Do you like good looking stories? .Do you like great charachters,and ones that actually develop through the series? .Do you like guns,crazy stunts,gangsters,mayhem,large explosions,fast cars,gun toting maniacs,mad gun fights? If yes,then buy this outstanding series!..you WONT be disapointed!

Welcome back!...another great outing for the Lagoon Company here,though NOT quite as good as previous ones,but still good stuff! Most of this volume concentrates on two young kids who delight in killing people...it explains why they do later on,which was not entirely to my tastes..hence 4 stars. The first few episodes are still good though,with the same great fight secnes youve come to love,and plenty of great dialogue. For me the last episode was the best,purely because it features more of the 'rip-off' church,and a scene where Revy and her nun alter-ego Eda are arguing over what gun Jesus would own!..priceless! Its a good set,and carries on with the charachters that you know and love..so get it already!;) ... Read More:

Back once more!..well your in for a real treat,i personally think Vol 3 is the best yet! I'll also point out that this series in general is NOT for younger viewers or those easily offended,and this Volume really does outdo itself in terms of the violence on offer..and has more swearing than a drunken sailor whose caught his crown jewels in his trouser zipper! Vol 3 doesnt have as much time spent on the 'personal' matters between charachters as in Vol 2,but makes up for it with introducing us to some cool new people like the Triad boss,who is an even better pistolero than Revy! We see more of Hotel Moscow,the Russian mafia and Ex paratroopers/spetznaz too. Its chock-a-block full of outrageous fight sequences,and funny ... Read More:

Im guessing that as your looking at this,youve seen Vol 1,and wonder what Vol 2 is like?...well,its GREAT! truelly..it carries on the story where Vol 1 left off {the fight against the neo-nazis} and goes into full throttle mayhem! What i thought was the best element of the episodes on Vol 2,was the fact that it furthers the charachters relationships with each other..especially Rock and Revy,which is a must see for fans of the series ;) The extras,well..their ok..a few trailers,the jap opening sequence..but really,your buying this hoping that the excellent art,story etc will carry on from Vol 1,right? Buy it, you will NOT be disapointed!
