Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko is out of place in this piece of crap film based on a computer game. Hollywood - obviously running out of ideas for new films now seems to try anything - from computer games to sequels to remakes. This DVD features the UNRATED version of the film, which is a bit more violent than the PG-13 version shown in movie theaters in the States. Nonetheless it DOESN'T make a crappy film any better. And sorry, Timothy Olyphant is NOT a convincing actor at all.

for a start this film started out with a little more acton than the hostel films,i.e no 40 minute character building until the killings. oh no, once they get to where they want to go the fun starts, ok it is a bit few and far between, as in gore, blood,etc.. but as the flm is quite long it keep the thrills going until the end. expect lots of blood, toe curling scenes, heads blown off, table saws etc.. yes, if you thought hostel 1 or 2 was good, you aint seen nothing yet, id say its 80% hostel,20%manhunt and 10% the descent, f,y,i manhunt is a game. it just reminds me of it in some parts. go for it if you love people getting killed!!! yay!!

Read other reviews to determine whether to make this purchase and Blu ray version shows all the attention to detail.

Wont talk much of the film as it be too much to give away. But go ahead and make that purchase

By the time "Frontier(s)" was over my teeth really hurt. That was because I kept clenching them during the moments in this French horror film (the correct spelling of which would be "Frontière(s)"). This 2007 film is being promoted as the ninth of the 8 films 2 die 4 for last year's After Dark Horrorfest, because when it earned an NC-17 rating in the States it had to be pulled from the lineup. So it has the whole vibe of being too much horror for Horrorfest, which means the expectations are pretty high when you sit down to watch this one. On the other hand, the second crop of Horrorfest films were rather disappointing so you figure this one has to be an improvement, and the good news is that it certainly delivers. I am not the sort to close my eyes while watching ... Read More:
