Wall-e is a beautiful, magical film with a magnitude of messages for contemporary society. Disney is the one aspect of my childhood that has never lost its touch. This film shows just how fantastic the relationship between Disney and Pixar really is. Wall-e is an adorably selfless character and it is difficult not to become so emotionally attached. I knew nothing about this film before seeing it at the cinema and was truly amazed by how moving the scenes without speech are. Although the first half of the film lacks words, this in no way lessens the inevitable entwining of viewer and character that only Disney has perfected. I have been trying to remember the first time I saw Walt Disney's "Sleeping Beauty," and I cannot remember if I ever saw it in a theater, caught it on television some time, or never sat down to watch it until it came out on videotape. What I did remember is not being particularly impressed by the movie. Certainly I did not consider it to be a classic Disney animated film like "Bambi" or "Cinderella," which is a way of saying that it was not on my "must have" list of Disney movies. Then I watched this 50th Anniversary Platinum Edition of "Sleeping Beauty" and all I can say is that however I saw this film for the first time it was NOT in this expanded version that has restored the original Super Technirama 70 dimensions of the film. I bought this film from Amazon and watched it full 1080p and i have to say, this was the best movie experience i have ever had, and the best movie i have watched i ages! The graphics and story from start to finish was inspiring! i urge anyone considering this and most defiantly via blu-ray, go straight out and get it, you will not be disappointed!

Disney films have pretty much gone downhill since the "Hunchback of Notre Dame" animated movie. In that film, the heroine kicks men in the groin to make her escape and the comedy relief is provided by a stone gargoyle that relieves itself by passing gas. In this film, we have a live dog urinating on the leg of a prince and a chipmunk that defecates when frightened. Is this what passes for family entertainment these days?

Although I am not the greatest Harry Potter fan in the world I have always enjoyed the film series and thankfully this film continues this trend. The Order of the Phoenix sees the dark lord Voldemort gathering his forces but with the Ministry of Magic refusing to acknowledge his return Harry and his friends must defy the Ministry in order to prepare for the coming war. Complicating matters is Ms Umbridge, the Ministry appointed Defence from the Dark Arts teacher, who is willing to do anything for the Ministry of Magic. I haven't read any of the Potter books as yet and as such I cannot comment about how closely this film sticks to the book and I have heard mixed reports on the subject. This film has to be one of if not THE best Disney film there is. The story is great, the voices perfect, the songs brilliant! My favourite song from Aladdin is probably Friend Like Me but that's because I love Genie. However, all the songs are great in this film, there's none that you roll your eyes to because Disney have that great way of including a lovely slowie into a film but still having the humour there (like with A Whole New World). Loved this film when I was little and chuffed now that my littl'un loves it too. Great fun for family viewing and still funny for adults!

So, whilst I am 100% for the protection of animals, we need to get the balance right. This is not an animal rights protest site - it is a film review site. If anyone has actually SEEN the film and wishes to review it - you are most welcome. Great animation, characterization, sound, and imagery rule in "101 Dalmations." It's action, excitement and love, but with a dark theme that's a bit scary.

The Phantom Menace - A good film. Great action scenes. It's really good how it starts off the saga. It can be a bit boring at some points but apart from that a great film. 7/10 Attack of the Clones - Another great Star Wars film. The only thing that slows this movie down is the relationship between Anakin and Padme, but the fights are really great, like the big battle at the end. 8.5/10 Revenge of the Sith - The best one on the DVD. Non stop action and intense lightsaber fights. Really good how it builds up to Episode IV. Hayden Christensen and Ewan Mcgregor are a great cast and George Lucas writes and directs a brlliant end to the saga. 10/10
