I gave this to my husband as a birthday gift and he is over the moon with it! The quality of the collection is fantastic and to this day Thunderbirds is still a classic with young and old. A must buy for any die hard fan!

Our two sons (4 & 2) really enjoyed this. They have been making Zero X and Thunderbird 4 with their Brio ever since. The 4 year old keeps wanting to know what number Thunderbird the "Thunderbird Boys" are in. Mum and Dad loved it too - it took us back to our own childhood. We were both amazed with the quality of the special effects, they stood the test of time well. Story was perhaps a bit slow for today's generation but it was wonderful to have a story that really was family fun. The Cliff Richard and the Shadows dream sequence made us smile!!! Enjoy!

Thunderbirds is simply one of the best childrens TV (although my Dad loved it) programs ever made. To be honest I'm not sure now whether it was made with children specifically in mind or not. Watching it now on DVD it remains fantastic even to my 40something eyes. The picture quality is great, it has dolby 5.1 surround sound and fortunately as it is set in 2065 you can't say well that never happened (like Space 1999 for example). All the best things about Thunderbirds still remain the best. The superb opening credits sequence with the preview of the forthcoming episode. Anyone who grew up loving thunderbirds like me will love this film. It's so quaint and I think it's great. Each character is completely different and I love the idea and the quirkiness of the film!!Awesome!

Thunderbirds is wonderful, of course, however, I personally have always felt that it is a wonderful television series. The spin off in to the world of films,just did not seem to capture the drama and excitement of the series. Too long perhaps? Running low on original ideas? While I respect all those who contributed to both feature films, I would prefer to watch 2 tv episodes back to back! How about Trapped in the sky and The Univited

I well remember seeing these episodes the first time around (especially Move and Your Dead) in black and white. By the time they came to be repeated I saw them in colour for the first time and thought that was a big step forward. Now seeing them on DVD having been digitally restored I have been able to enjoy them again. They simply were well ahead of their time not only in the excellent storytelling but the technical excellence. All four episodes are worth watching over and over again. As I have said Move and Your Dead has always remained in my memory since the first time I worried that Alan was doomed to destruction. The man from MI5 gives Lady Penelope one of her starring roles. All round a great escape from adulthood.

Sorry, but this movie destroyed a classic! It's spy-kids in space! This movie could have been the beginning of a very successful movie series like Star Wars or Star trek. Why aim it exclusively at 6 year olds? The fact that you can now pick up the DVD for £1 in bargain bins anywhere says it all. The actors were mis-cast, (except Ben Kingsley who was excellent as the hood) FAB 1 was a FORD!!!!, the Thunderbirds craft were ok, but had none of the original 'style' of the TV craft. I mean, TB2 is a world famous icon now. Why mess with it??? The SFX were APPALLING!!! I've seen beter computer graphics on old Amstrad games! And worst of all, the story was RUBBISH! There wasn't actually any 'real' rescue in the movie ... Read More:
