In addition to all the positive things about this DVD I would just also like to mention two drawbacks: 1.) If you don't like the Walt Disney singing parades, this is a no for I'm afraid it contains quite a few 2.) The stories do NOT come to a natural and obvious end but rather one leads on to the other so you do have the debate as to whether the child may not watch a little more ...and just another little more ...

There are not enough words to express how much I truly adore this movie, it's legendary! I could watch this every day and still not get bored, I'm not even going to wait until I have kids to try and justify me buying it.

This is one of those dvds you can get out any time of year over and over again and it still appeals. Who would have thought combining a witch, a doctor and WWII would create such wonder. The characters created by Angela Lansbury (Miss Price the good witch) and David Thomlinson (Dr Amelius Brown)are wonderful and the combination of settings, singing, dancing and animation are very well balanced. Our whole family love this film.

Be aware, this is the 4:3, not the Widescreen version! Easy to buy it by mistake as 99.9% of DVDs are widescreen!

beautiful movie, based on the theory taht dinosaurs lived even after teh meteorite struck the earth. the decision to combine real life landscape with computer animation fits erally well and i think add to the story

This film is not a very famous disney, however it is one of mine and my sisters favourites! Funny, happy and tear jerking, this film is fantastic and a classic that can be watched over and over again.

I grew up watching only a few films and the Hunchback of Notre Dame was one of them. I used to get my mam to rent it from the local video shop over and over again, and in the end the owner just ended up giving us the video. Sadly, since my VHS player stopped working last year, i have had to convert all my videos onto DVD, which is a pain and costs money. I think the Hunnchback of Notre Dame is an amazing story! Especially for children and especially for those growing up in the world today. I believe, and know, the moto to the story is dont be afraid of who you are, be proud. And since there's a lot of people today that are afraid to be themselves. I think this story is s good lesson! The film has an amazing storyline..okay a little sad ... Read More:

I can't say I was terribly impressed by this. I have never been much of a fan of Winne the Pooh, but this being such an...English....series of books, the American accents of all the characters in this Disney animation (bar Christopher Robin, who only puts in an appearance during the last two minutes of the film) soon began to grate. I'm sure this point has been complained about by many people many times before, but it is startlingly annoying. I'm sure the kids won't notice, but if you have to watch it with them - you might. That said real reason I am writing this review is that I was absolutely astonished by the 'disaster movie' ending of this film - in which everyone is flung about during an avalanch which stikes a collapsing pine tree. One of the better Disney movies released at the price which i got it for (£7) it was a MUST BUY i think its a great adaptation of the original story of hercules with great music and hilarious scenes worth considering!

The Lion King...deep,moving,inspirational,and beautiful...not to mention hilarious too. artistic and wonderful...an aweinspiring Disney classic. my #1 favourite Disney film of all time. the songs range from hilarious to moving. the artwork is at its very,very best and shows the sheer beauty of Africa...and the animals of the wild look so very realistic. its an incredible masterpiece of a film...and demands more than 100 viewings. a sheer beautiful class act from the Disney studios...and by far the most breathtaking film i have ever seen. seriously.
