2007 was one of the best Formula One seasons for years. There was drama, controversy, fantastic races, suprise faces, and more. This season review does it's best to compress the excitement into one watch.

So what does it do well? Firstly, it includes alot of action from each race, and despite the lack of replays, it does do enough to provide the best action from either end of the grid. Pretty much everything notable is included. Secondly, the special features. such as the ones on Super Aguri and Williams, make a very interesting break from the action.

The DVD does lack a little in interviews, and doesn't really consider the off-track events as much as they actually affected the season.

However, naturally, ... Read More:

I wish I'd read the other reviews before purchasing this DVD and I may have saved myself some money.

How is it possible to properly document one of the greatest racing driver of all time without showing any footage of him racing. The producers were simply too tight to purchase any racing clips and thought they'd try to dupe the public into buying it anyway.

I wish Amazon would have allowed me to award this DVD 0 stars but it doesn't. Do not buy this DVD. Simple as that.

A fantastic review of the 2006 Season, sound contamination from the race into the commentary box makes for some interesting anomalies - virtually empty track on screen but background noise is cars downshifting for corners. I would like to have seen more post race analysis and F1 background - maybe a case for a 2 DVD set in the future.

It is amazing how different a race sounds with commentators you are not used to.

This was a very good season, apart from the USA grand prix, but there was some great races and in the end, a superb driver won the title!!!

I disagree from the review from the guy in Bath, I don't know what DVD he was watching but there were pre-race builds up for all the races.

I liked the on board camera shots, switching to pit lanes. The different shots for Hakkinen's overtaking on Schumacher.
The picture quantity is great. How ever there's room for improvement (hence fours stars).
1. If you get Murry Walker to commentate, I sure sales would triple. hint for 2001
2. It would great if we could a complete lap with the on board camera.
Other than that I thought this is great DVD, for any F1 fan.

First of all we should not forget that 2004 was hardly one of the best years for F1. So you can't put excitement in where it did not happen.

That said this DVD has much to commend it. The commentator for a start - nice to hear Ben Edward's voice even if he is reading a script. He is very good on Motors TV for the BTTC etc and he plus Wattie made a fine team for that year Sky did F1 in full. Previous videos in this series had some right plonkers... Jon 'No Fun' Woss must have either had a good agent or they let him do it for a laugh... 'Gwand Pwee' anyone?

Seriously though, this DVD is a good way of running through the 'best bits' of the year.... lots of on board footage, lots of interviews etc I had not heard before. They captured just about ... Read More:

I generally concur with the previous reviewer's critique, though I'm not sure if I'd describe it as very well made nor reflecting top quality production values. This is quite a good summary of the cars and teams themselves, described eloquently by renowned Can-Am expert Pete Lyons, and interspersed with some nice film of a recent reunion at Laguna Seca. However, it is not without mistakes (the Lola T70 most definitely did not start out as an endurance coupé) and general sloppiness (why show a photograph of a T160 when he is talking about the T70?) that crop up in Duke videos far too often. Also, the modern film of Orwell Supercup rounds is incohesive and superfluous.

More importantly though, there is little period footage in this (as stated in the previous ... Read More:
