If your a huge BeeGees fan like I am then this is the dvd for you! Great performances by Barry, Robin and Maurice. Their voices have never withered. Brings back lots of memories. There's also a little tribute to their late brother Andy. Highly recomended!

Though full of political meaning, and trapped in a cold war time warp, Barbra has never, EVER, sung and sounded so well like she does on this DVD, specially if compared with the ones she did in Vegas recently. Pitch perfect on every single note (more than 3,000, as she herelf says in the concert), the audience is in itself a show! Everyboby who was anybody in Hollywood then, is there (no wonder, for a mere $5,000 a seat)! A historical concert, and her first in about 20 years, this one is the true TIMELESS (not the more recent one).

This is a great DVD, featuring the late Maurice Gibb - the music starts off very up beat, then slows in the middle when the 3 brothers sing with just Barry on Guitar, brill, then the tempo picks up again, truly a great entertaining perforamance, dated now, but still worth the watching, over and over again - 5 stars

Recording with an audience of less than 1,000, this DVD feels like a club recording with it's Dolby Ditigal and DTS audio sound. Host Mark McEwen gushes a tad much and the 'Live by Request' gimmick is not original. Still, it manages to captivate. Fifteen songs (one a medley of eight), five being from the last album, it's a collection that defies the ear with the groups tight instrumentals and harmonies. "She Keep On Coming" and "You Should Be Dancing" rock the house, while "Sacred Trust" and "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" lull the audience into a trance. This recording is unique in that there are plenty of star 'call-ins' and lots of joking around. Its surprising to hear Barry sing, "Woman In Love", but "Nights On Broadway" is, once again, cut ... For those unfamiliar of the musical work of Barry Gibb and also the Bee Gees, this may prove a difficult feature/film to watch. But, even if you are not enamoured by the songs themselves, you will always remain entertained by the bizarre and wacky story lines that are composed to accompany each song. This extended feature brings a new meaning to the fact that with every song there is a story. And, in this case, with such a successful and creative songwriter being the main focus, it is a truly fascinating sight to behold. The only shame is that Now Voyager was largely ignored at the time of its release and, while Barry Gibb may not have much professional acting experience, it is a pity that he did not play a role in a subsequent film.
