Barcode: 0823564512693 Basically, if you already have Performance Review & Sex Bomb DVDs, there's very little point in getting this box set as it is basically these two DVDs - exactly the same as if you were to buy them individually - but packaged in a new card box. It's all presented nicely enough but the company that releases all these unnoficial DVDs is really just out there to get a bit more cash out of us fans by passing something old off as something new. That said, if you have neither, i definitely recommend getting this set as the two DVDs are pretty good and you get them for half the price they'd cost if you bought them both individually. The audio CD included is a refreshing change as it is the first time Madonna has released a live CD, and of course the tracks featured are all great. However i would have very much liked to see more of her oldies included on it that she performed in the show. These woukd include hits such as 'Papa don't preach', 'Express yourself', 'Crazy for you', 'Material girl' and 'Hanky Panky'. Up until the Reinvention tour i was always got this feeling that Madonna would rather forget her old material and to me that is a real shame considering fans like myself have been following her from day one. The documentary included is the perfect sequel to 1990's Truth or Dare(In bed with Madonna) and shows how far she has come and grown as a person both artistcally and personally ... Read More:

I really don't think the makers of this product should have been allowed to call it the "ultimate" collection because it just isn't. Infact it's a very incomplete collection in my opinion...I'm a huge Madonna fan, I've been one since "Music" came out and discovering her older work made me really fall in love with her as an artist. I'm now the type of fan who will buy almost anything if Madonna has something to do with it, so naturally I had to buy this two disc DVD boxset. As I said, calling it the Ultimate collection is, in my opinion, a gross case of mis-representation. How can it be "ultimate" if half of Madonna's music video's are missing? I can understand that the video's which are soundtracks to movies are missing...maybe there were issues with owner rights or something, ... Read More:

For Godssake reading some of the previous reviews mentioning words such as 'narcissist' and gracious enough to say things like 'suprisingly good'. May I ask 'who the hell do you think you are?' Have you ever got up on a stage and performed? Do you know what that is like? No doubt many of you who have written reviews here live sad existences in the UK and get a tad carried away with your own self importance (not) when the opportunity arises to offer an opinion. This concert created awareness hopefully and made some money for charity. Artists turned up and performed to a crowd that were not necessarily there to see them alone which is an anxiety forming thought to an artist. Some did well others did not. Basically, it's the 3rd release of the Madonna 'Music In Review' documentary, repackaged into yet another version that while essentially the same - always lure's the collectors and completists to buy it. That's how these companies that bring these things out without the artist's permission make their money. But let's not worry about the ethics of the DVD... A brief rundown on what it looks like - It's a nice pink card slipcase with two of those slimline DVD cases in it.
