I have a Sony 40" HD TV and I watched it through my PS3 giving the disc a HD upscale and it was truly awful. Iv seen Oasis twice and they were great, I have all there dvds and cd's but this is the worst and its all down to the picture quality, its so grainy. It does the concert no justice.

I bought this DVD about a week ago and wasn't disappointed. It captures Oasis in fantastic form, performing all their classic songs and some newer ones as well. Liam Gallagher, the quintessential Rock 'n' Roll star, is at his swaggering, charismatic best with Noel and Alan White as reliable as ever. The 2 new boys Bell and Archer look right at home in Oasis as well. Every song is performed with the famous swagger and confidence of Oasis, with Cigarettes and Alcohol, Roll with it, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever and Acquiesce standing out as phenomenal performances. Every song still sounds as fresh as it did when it was first released, and Dont Look Back in Anger still sends a shiver down the spine. I guarantee you could put this DVD on whatever ... Read More:

Considering that at the time Oasis only had one album (Definitely Maybe) and a bunch of single b-sides, Live By The Sea is a show where they strum out hit after hit.
Rock 'N' Roll Star is the first tune blasted out and that sets the path for 80 minutes of vintage Oasis.
Following one hell of an opener are 10 more punches in the face, including Acquiesce, Some Might Say, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Live Forever and Up in the Sky. Throughout the set is classic after classic that doesnt let up at any point. Unfortunately Up in the Sky, and later Slide Away, are spoilt by Liams inability to hit the higher notes in the songs. But luckily there are 15 other songs that make up for these, slightly disappoiting performances.

6.Oasis: Definitely Maybe (Limited Edition) starring: Oasis

DVD : Oasis: Definitely Maybe (Limited Edition)
If you ask me, this is the first time I have felt that it might be worth buying an album DVD equivalent. The Definitely Maybe DVD includes, of course, all the songs, including videos and live performances of each song. The chances are you already own the album itself, so it's the visuals and the live performances you'll be interested in. And both are definitely worth while, although possibly not particularly in the long term - depends what sort of fan you are.

And if you are the sort of fan I am, then that may not be why you got this DVD at all - the key to Oasis (as many fans will know) is the combination between the music and the men. And in the interviews on this DVD, the men are in fine form. They are full of anecdotes, as you would be in recalling ... Read More:

7.Oasis: There and Then [1996] starring: Oasis

DVD : Oasis: There and Then [1996]
This DVD shows an extremely talented band working at their very best. As an earlier reviewer has said, you can leave this DVD running and enjoy the whole lot, despite the inteview clips interspersed with the action and the switching betwen venues. Surprisingly that doesn't affect the DVD and it has the feel of one concert anyway. The different atmospheres between the stadium bash of Maine Road and the (comparatively) more intimate surrounding of Earl's Court (an indoor venue) is interesting. Also, unlike some DVDs, after each interview clip you get the whole track in performance, not edited as is sometimes the case. The sound quality is good and the intensity of the performance is astonishing, particularly as Liam Gallagher never looks as if he gives two hoots about what he's ... Read More:

Just watched it and this is totally dreadful, I have to write a review to try and save people the money. Dreadful production, appalling quality of film, just 50 minutes of poor quality clips from Top of the pops, with words and lips not even in sync, and a bunch of sycophantic, schoolboy quality reviews from people you are unlikely to have ever heard of. Amazon - should you be selling this?? Shocking.

Don't know whether its a limeter or compressor causing the
problem, but volume is changing way too much in the transition
between fairly quiet moments and loud ones!
Really annoying!
