Whilst the Writers' Strike left this season feeling a little empty, the quality of the show continues to shine through. The conclusion to the Sara Saga is excellently pulled off and will certainly bring a tear to the eye of the most faithful CSI fan. Some of the episodes are a bit poor - such as the story of the young lad who develops breasts - but these are balanced out by the other episodes. Shame there's not as many episodes as there normally are but worth the purchase all the same.

CSI New York is brilliant. After the season three finale (snow day) I was expecting great things from season four. It didn't dissapoint at all it was fantastic. I've watched it on TV and will eventually be getting season four parts 1 and 2 box sets. The episodes that stood out to me from season four were Down the Rabbit hole, Boo, DOA for a day, Taxi, and Hostage however I enjoyed all the episodes. There was a wonderful mix of storylines and mystery. Although there has been the writers strike it hasn't affeted CSI:NY too much, it has only been cut short by about 2 or 3 episodes. Higly recommended, all I can say is roll on season 5.

This whole series is fantastic, the thinking behind the minature killer is brilliant. The extras on the DVD give you a really interesting insight into how it is all made. The cliff hanger is fantastic, so much so I had to buy the Series 8 Part 1 the day it was released!

cant wait for this dvd to be relesed. I missed most of season 4 and the few episodes i did see looked great roll on 14 july cant wait to watch mac stel and the team they are they best csi show by far. The cover looks great aswell.

I love CSI Miami. While the others in the franchise (Las Vegas and New York) have both long since reached their plateau of interest and jumped off the other side into entertainment freefall, Miami continues ever upwards to greater heights almost unchallenged. Why is it so much better than the others though? Well for a start they've only really bothered to tweak the formula with this one and so there is much more action in a typical 'Miami' episode that an entire series of 'NY'. But for the most part it is the appallingly bad acting by David Caruso that makes this show so damned watchable! If you like crime shows, working out who did it, character led action, great acting, interesting characters and fancy american shows then start from series one, sit down with an IV drip, a potty for your doings and a big load of haribo and watch straight through to this series. It's fanciful, it's fun, it's big and it's good. I wouldn't recommend it if you hate all of the above. But then you're not worth recommending anything to anyway. Oh, and P.S. it's not 24

This is the second part of season 1 so if whoever's reading this is thinking of buying the second part I would assume that you've got the first 12 episodes. I have already done a review on part 1 but just as a recap, C.S.I is a show based around the graveyard shift of the Las Vegas Criminal Investigations unit following cases they come across and how they solve those cases using forensics. The second part of this season has 11 episodes instead of 12 like the first part. There are some extras these being interviews with the stars of the show. Don't get too excited though. Isn't it great when you discover a programme yourself without any hype and end up really liking it. Love it or hate it, I don't think that there is anybody on planet earth that hasn't heard of CSI, but when I first saw this one Saturday night on channel 5 in either 2000 or 2001, I had never heard of it and I don't think many people had, this was one of those programmes that I accidentally watched by channel hopping and I just really enjoyed and thought how fresh it felt. It is not always true that original is best but in my opinion it is definitely true with this because CSI: Vegas is by far the best of the CSI series, I still like CSI Miami but I have tried and now completely given up on the extremely boring and shallow CSI: New York, I just find it more ...
