Cold Feet is one of the best british made shows ever-bar none. I watched series 1-4 when it was first shown on ITV and I bought this complete collection mainly to see series 5 as I never got to watch it[was working away]and what a trip down memory lane it was. I had forgotten how funny and heart-breakingly sad it can be.The cast is truly superb.Special mention must go to John Thomson as Pete.That bloke cracks me up and have loved him since his Paul Calf 'Fat Bob' days. I knew I liked this series when I bought it, I only found out how much after sitting through all 5 series. There is a good mix of comedy, realism (well almost) and some great surreal 'out-take' moments. Enjoy it but be prepared to buy the next 4 discs!

Always been a fan of English drama series, so much more refined than its American equivalents. Saw the entire series again last weekend after some years and was moved to tears looking frequently in the mirror of my recent past. Absolutely top acting performances with caracters written so unbelievely well. It doesn't get any better than this... Not for many, many years to come.

It's so difficult as to know where to begin, when trying to sum up what Cold Feet has achieved, and what it means to me as a 'viewer'..or perhaps more poignantly, a voyeur. I was sucked in from the very first episode, the pilot setting the standard for the entire 5 series. Though never an avid TV viewer, this program grabbed me by the you know whats, forcing me to sit up and watch, become absorbed by the characters completely, and even grow to love them. The twists, hardly ever subtle (hard hitting seems the most effective way of getting some story-lines across, sometimes) can have you laughing with the characters, or sobbing with them so much so that the screen between just 'disappears'. First time round on TV I thought it was good. We bought the box set on DVD, and second time round it strikes you how good all the series are. Quality casting and great writing. It is so much better than anything I have seen in TV dramas since. It can actually be funny enough to make you laugh out loud, and other times even make you cry.
