I'm pretty certain if you're looking to buy this, you're not a new-comer to the series, so I won't break it down for you - so many reviews on each season for pick from, I won't bore you. Course if you are a new-comer... sorry. Simply reason for this review, is to tell you exactly what you're getting from this instead of the individual boxsets. Firstly, space-saver. Sounds stupid, maybe, but for those that are racing up 100s or 1000s of DVDs, it's a valid point, (yeah, that would be me, of course) and it is a growing problem. Secondly, you get extras that weren't on the originals, though flipside, if you have the first edition of Season One, (the 'format problem' one in the red case), you miss out on the extras on this, if you're swapping/up ... I didn't actually think i would like sex and the city. I bought it on dvd and absoloutely loved it. I think that everyone who watches this loves it. Sex and the City is amazing i don't know what i'd do without it.

This is my absolute favourite of all 6 seasons, though I wish there was a 4 and a half star rating, as this season is soooo short, 8 episodes if I remember rightly (maybe 10) compared to the tohers which generally have 18 or 20. Obviously you should watch them all as Sex and the City really is best enjoyed from start to finish, but this series is a real gem :)

SATC is more than just a show, it's a feeling! My husband bought me this box set for Xmas as he hates the show so much he wanted me to be able to watch it when he was out, but now I just watch it on TV and DVD as well. I love all the series in different ways, but especially the last when they finally wrap up the loose ends and the characters are all so fantastic, especially Harry for Charlotte and Smith for Samantha. Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!!!!!

I love this show and was so very excited when I first bought this DVD. I think this is a great season, and watching it is like catching up with old friends, so no complaints there. Episode wise I give the DVD a 5 star rating. Sadly though, I had to even my rating out at 3 stars, because I give the actual DVD its self 1 star! Firstly there is no "play all" function. So, if you are relying on the buttons on the DVD player its self (having mistakenly thrown away your remote, or is that just me!?) you cannot watch the DVD. There's an annoying "intro screen" before you get to watch each episode, and if you turn the DVD player off whilst you are still on the credits for an episode, it brings you to an annoying screen where you have to skip ...
