I love these movies, some of the best Horror around.
BUT THESE FILMS ARE STILL CUT.. the running time given here and on the box is wrong, these times are the American edtions, if you watch the films you will see they are shorter than the time given on the box, altogether around 30 minutes in total {4/5 minutes each film}.
Plus there is no three-d glasses..

Still worth getting though.

This film seems to be one that people love or hate? Generally I dislike remakes as pointless exercises that are pale imitations of the (often better) originals e.g. The Grudge, Assault On Precinct 13, Gone In 60 Seconds. However if they add something to the original they can be worthwhile.
The original Halloween is an absolute classic horror film and the grandfather of the slasher genre. What Rob Zombie does with his version is to give us an insight into Michael Myers, that is absent in the original. The therapeutic relationship between Dr Loomis and Michael is emphasised and the obsession with masks that facilitates his withdrawal from reality. This relationship doesn't cloud Lumis' perception of Myers; he knows that he is evil incarnate, ... Read More:

Nowhere near as good as Carpenter's film, but worth it all the same. Efficient direction, cheeky in-jokes (Curtis' mother, Janet Leigh cameoes in a motherly role) and Curtis of course lights up the screen. This is the best of the sequels. And just think; it only took them six films to reach it...

Craven's "Scream" is a masterpiece, it can't be denied. The intricate references to previous horror-movie greats is fantastic and Craven voices his thoughts on the horror genre throughout the film through the character Randy, a movie buff.
There are many plot twists and turns that make for edge-of-your-seat viewing. I loved this film and I highly recommend it to any horror fan. I also recommend you buy the soundtrack - it's awesome.

well what can i say...its awful.
there is no pace,no(half decent) actors(except JLC for her single scene for Lauries demise)and well no plotline.
a failure...and surprisingly better than 3-6 but still atrocious...why they even bothered with this film i will never know...it is even better than the remake of the original which was a surprise.
H2O redeemed the franchise with good performances and fun scenes although there were holes in the plot it was a very good sequel...this should be avoided at all costs.
and to top it all off a '15' certificate to make this the tamest out of the whole franchise.

The original Friday the 13th is not the first, the most original, or the best slasher film ever made, but it is arguably the most influential. You almost have to take off one of your socks to count all of the sequels (and impending remake) this slasher granddaddy has spawned, and I daresay the majority of slasher films littering the genre in all the years since were constructed on the generic and simple framework of the Friday the 13th formula. Critics are still foaming at the mouth in indignation over this film all these years later, so you know it did something right. Of course, by today's standards Friday the 13th registers low (if at all) on the fright meter and really isn't all that gory, but no one can dispute the fact that this film set the stage for innumerable bloody ... these films are similar to the early friday the 13th films but more humerous , to be honest my niece picked the dvds and i was expecting an abysmal offering but to my suprise we watched the 3 films the same day and to be honest i have seen far worst films and the triology cost £6.anybody who likes slightly wacky horrer films should get these pronto , there are plenty of slayings in many different ways and nothings too graphic it sort of makes you visualise what happened next.

While attending the premiere of the new horror film 'Stab,' a young couple, (Omar Epps and Jada Painkett) are viciously murdered. The film is based on the events of the first 'Scream.' During a year off at college, Sidney (Neve Campbell) is tormenting her roommate, Hallie (Elise Neal) so she seeks out friend Randy (Jaime Kennedy) to shed some light on what happened in the theater. Due to the event, Gale (Courtney Cox) and Dewey (David Arquette) arrive at the school to probe the relationship between what happened. The man who she accused of murdering her mother, Cotton Weary (Live Schrieber) also visits Sidney's college to get the truth from her about him. The first movie in the trilogy is quite weak in my opinion compared to the third movie. The characters are forgettable and the deaths aren't very imaginative. I think this is a fairly good movie although I do prefer the third in the series. It's worth watching if you love a nice gory horror.
