Starsky and Hutch takes about 45 minutes to find its feet and become humorous and interesting.One episode of the 1970s tv programme is way more entertaining than this film but if you like spectacular stunts with cars the film is worth seeing for the last ten minutes or so.

I wasn't even a twinkle in my parents' eyes when Starsky and Hutch first aired, but I can remember watching repeats with my dad when I was little. I thing I remember most (apart from 'The Striped Tomato') was Huggy Bear. Then a couple of months agos, I found the complete first season on DVD. Admittedly, I bought it because a) it was fairly inexpensive and b) David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser looked rather gorgeous, but from the moment I watched the pilot, I was well and truly hooked! In fact, I had to fight my dad off when I got it home! Yes, some of the shows are, frankly, shocking - JoJo, for instance - but this was and still is a hard-hitting, no punches barred series. This is an excellent TV show with well written episodes and superb acting. I have enjoyed all the episodes in this season 3 DVD box set. There is more comedy between the two cops Starsky and Hutch this season but there are still serious episodes. I'm impressed with the picture quality and all episodes have been digitally remastered and cleaned up of dirt and dust. I thoroughly recommend this Season 3 DVD box set and am looking forward to the Starsky and Hutch season 4 DVD box set.

Great to finally finish off my Starsky & Hutch collection with Season 4. As addicts are aware, the violence has been toned down and some episodes seem more comedic but it's still great fun. It's worth the money alone for The Targets Without A Badge trilogy. Thanks for releasing the forth and final season of this top notch cop show. It's been a thrilling ride. It's a cliche I know but they just don't make em like that anymore!!

I originally saw the recent movie, and being a fan of the actors, thought it was great. I then went on to study it for my A-level Media Studies coursework. To aid in my research, I found the first series of the original series cheap, but only really watched the pilot episode and didn't really take much notice. It was about 6 months when I found it at the back of my DVD cupboard and me and my twin sister thought we might as well watch it, as we knew it was really popular back in the day. And our Mum and Dad remembered and loved it! We both became instantly addicted to it, working our way through the first series, and are currently halfway through the second series, and are very much looking forward to getting the third and fourth!
