This final volume brings the story to a conclusion that you just have to see until the very end: intense emotions and thrilling action provide these final episodes with a true climax which is really rewarding, right until the last second of the final episode (during the ending theme). Will Misaki and her mother finally reunite? If you have already seen the previous volumes then this final volume is the one you cannot afford to miss! It is truly the crown on the series!

Well what can I say about volume 2 of Battle Doll Angelic layer (On a Wing and a Prayer)....? Well normally I don't go for anime titles with martial arts type Fighting in? I'm more into Giant Robot/Mecha action myself ;) but as there isn't a suitable Mecha title on ADV current release schedule, I was looking for something else to fill in the time and give me my monthly "Anime Fix" until the next Big Mecha title comes along... Now I dunno what it was about the Trailer to this series that attracted me in the first place (I think it was something to do with the previous titles that the series makers had worked on before?) and I know it is a bit of a "Girlie" title :S but I thought I'd give it a shot cos in some sorta ... This is an anime that will put a smile on your face! Misaki is such a sweet girl and you just want to see her being happy when she triumphs with Hikaru... The ending theme really enhances happy as well as sad episode endings (especially when it starts) and the soundtrack does a good job too. Personally I prefer the original japanese voices over the english dubs since they are just more appropriate for the various characters than their english equivalents. As an owner of the complete series I can tell you that this first volume is the beginning of a very enjoyable experience, so I suggest "go and buy the other volumes as well"; if you like this one you will love the rest!
