DVD : DragonBall Z: Season Six (REGION 1) (NTSC)
Dragonball Z continues the trend of effortlessly captivating it's audience, as one of the most memorable seasons is unleashed. This DVD boxset contains another 6 discs of amazing DBZ action, as well as the usual booklet detailing the main characters and episode listings for the season. Even though this has to be imported from America, it still works on region 2 DVD players, so there is no worry if you do not own a region 1 or multi region player.
Continuing from where season 5 left off, the Z -Fighters find themselves participating in a world martial arts tournament called the Cell Games in order to save the planet from destruction. The evil bio-android Cell plans to destroy the Earth if he does not face a worthy challenger in his Cell ... Read More:

a great season,+ for anyone who doesnt no these boxsets are all multi-regin and work on anything, dont rlly know wat dat guy sayin bout being incomplete ?, only bad thing is how weak they make the androids look in this season, it starts with trunks & gohan finding trunk's timemachine wich cell stole of trunks in the future to come to the past to absorb androids 17 & 18,piccollo,16 & tien give cell a bit of a challenge, eventully cell becomes complete with some help by vegeta, love the music (us version) when cell becomes perfect, cell easilly defeats accended vegeta, and trunks is to slow after they both came out of time chamber, finishes with cell aranging the cell games, while goku & gohan in da time chamber, cant wait for season ... DVD : DragonBall Z: Season Three (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This is it: The 33 Episode long Frieza Saga, featuring Piccolo's return, Vegeta realising he is not the legendary "Super" Saiyan and Gohan coming of age, as well as tons of fighting against the seemingly invincible Frieza. The action takes place place on distant planet Namek, which is now almost devoid of life, due to events in Series Two but there are lots of scenes of King Kai's Planet with Tien, Yamcha and co (moreso than Season two happily) and Earth.

This is a very good saga, there are some great fights spread across the first two Discs as well as tons of characterisation with Vegeta. It falters slightly in Disc 3 which is 6 episodes of Frieza VS Goku, it doesn't get interesting until he begins to form the Spirit Bomb. Disc 4 sees ... Read More:

DVD : DragonBall Z: Season Two (REGION 1) (NTSC)
Dragonball Z Season two takes of were season one ended. The box set contain both the Namek and Captian Ginyu Saga's containing 35 episodes on six disks. The whole of the namek saga has been remastered with new dialouge for each character and a whole new music track as heard in Season One. As the set moves onto the Ginyu Saga, Bruce Faulconer's sountrack takes place, replacing the new funimation music with the old. This can been seen as an advantage as Bruce Faulconer's music is more popular throughout Dragonball Z fans. Also as the set continue's through the Ginya saga, dubs, such as Goku's have been left untouched leaving the old dialouge from 1999 which are not so good. Just like season one the original japenese music can be played with English dub. ... Read More:

DVD : DragonBall Z: Season Four (REGION 1)(NTSC) (NTSC)
Like all other Dragonball Z season box set's this set is a MUST buy! It features THE Garlic JR, Trunks and Android sagas. That's 32 episodes on six discs! The DVD set also includes the English DUB with Japanese background music, Japanese and English Dub with US music (Soundtrack from Bruce Faulconer)
The DVD set still remains in its 16:9 format (widescreen)
A major disappointment to this box set is the lack of Re- Dub especially. At the start of the set Vegeta's voice had been Re-Dubbed (Garlic JR saga) but remained untouched from the Trunks saga and onwards) This would have to be the most noticeable voice change as his voice changes from deep to rather high pitched, so if you're a fan of Vegeta's deep voice then you are going to be very disappointed.... ... DVD : DragonBall Z: Movie 1 & 2 (REGION 1) (NTSC)
After the immense success funimation has had with releasing the remastered Dragon Ball Z series, the same treatment for the movies was inevitable.
This 2 disc collection contains the first two movies: 'Dead Zone' and 'The world's strongest'. It comes in a nice steelbook packaging, like the previous Trunks and Bardock double feature.

I happen to own an older DVD release of these first two movies, (In the first srike box set) and I must say there is an incredible difference in quality. The movies in this set look absoluteley beautiful as the picture has been cleaned up immensly. When I saw these films prior to being remastered, I didn't enjoy them as much. This is because I'd watched seasons 1 to 4 of the remastered DBZ series and the difference in quality ... Read More:

I can't find words to describe how mega awesome this movie is! However, I have to agree with Mr. I.J. Davis as it does take nearly half the movie before Vegeta (My favourite character as well) grows some saiyan balls and joins the fight. Still, bloody brilliant and worth all the time to watch. Other 2 aren't that great though...

I have to agree with all the positive feedback on this movie. It's interesting with the humour added in with "Veku", but, when Gogeta arrives, the action REALLY starts. Awesome animation as always, Dragon Ball Z ROCKS!!!
