Overall I've given this series 3/5. It would have been 4/5 but for the excessive recycling of material from previous episodes. Every episode includes some kind of flash back to scenes from a previous episode and you'll end up seeing some scenes 20 plus time by the time you've watched the entire series. Coupled with this a number of the episodes are 80-90% recycled material where there is a particular part of the series is revisited (performance of the Strike, assessment of the performance of the crew of the ligit ship etc.) The series is littered with these types of episodes and they are extremely frustrating to watch. i never watched any gundam show before this box set, but i must say that it tottaly blew my mind away. cool animation, nice story with several twists to keep things interesting and plenty of extras. Some episodes have battles of epic proportions that really make the show shine. this box also comes with a gundam board game. Highly recommended. lets hope that Gundam seed destiny also gets the box set treatment.
