A great Batman film and done right. some scene want on for too long at parts but overall A good film any Batman fan or normal movie goes. In my mine the best film of 2008 I seen

This film is so great that even the critics are comparing it to the Godfather, Goodfellas, Raiders of the lost ark, Scarface and many of the other classic movie hits in the world. Now for any film to reach up to that callaber has to have the best acting, the best storyline and volience and The Dark Knight definately has them you dont even need to be a comic book fan to love this film but this is the most confirmed best comic book film this decade expecially much more better and more relistic than the spiderman films, and the superman films, this movie also redifines comic book movie to the relistic world "wellcome to a world without rules". The villians: Joker Two-face scarecrow (cameo)

For the last four weeks I have been watching episodes of The Wire back to back right from the beginning of season one to the end of season four to prepare myself for this fifth and final season. Now, having just finished watching the feature length finale I feel a strange sense of grief knowing I will never again have excitement and pleasure of watching a new episode. Season five is all about tying up loose ends and this time the focus is on the Baltimore Sun newspaper. Carcetti's city hall has no money left to spend so promises made to Daniels are going unfulfilled and the police department can no longer pay officers overtime. Took a while to heat up - my interest grew and the excitement rolled - then a big dissapointment for an ending (perhaps that was the point) but these types of endings may make for good reading - but not very interesting for a film.

We have just finished watching Spooks 6 DVD set. As always, Spooks has you wanting to watch more because the story lines are intriguing and the action never stops. The only downside is the ending of the series - we now have to wait for Series 7 to see what happens and that is all I am going to say so it does not spoil the enjoyment. With living in Poland, we can only watch Spooks using DVDs. When is Spooks 7 going to be released.

Intense, visually stunning, compelling!! This film will just simply blow away any preconceptions you may have of other Batman, indeed other super-hero films. It's as much a crime drama as well as a super-hero film and has a very layered story-line concerning the various crime syndicates and how they're reacting to Batman's arrival (Batman Begins). Then The Joker arrives... Much has been said about Heath Ledger after his tragic death and in regards to this film, but words alone cannot describe the power of his performance. It surely must rank as one of the most creepy, evil and hilariously funny performances of all time!!
