Wall-e is a beautiful, magical film with a magnitude of messages for contemporary society. Disney is the one aspect of my childhood that has never lost its touch. This film shows just how fantastic the relationship between Disney and Pixar really is. Wall-e is an adorably selfless character and it is difficult not to become so emotionally attached. I knew nothing about this film before seeing it at the cinema and was truly amazed by how moving the scenes without speech are. Although the first half of the film lacks words, this in no way lessens the inevitable entwining of viewer and character that only Disney has perfected. As many before have kindly reviewed the story, I will leave at that. What I can add is that our 3 years old loved every second of it! Haven't been able to stop her from trying kung fu kicks since! Really good fun!

I have been trying to remember the first time I saw Walt Disney's "Sleeping Beauty," and I cannot remember if I ever saw it in a theater, caught it on television some time, or never sat down to watch it until it came out on videotape. What I did remember is not being particularly impressed by the movie. Certainly I did not consider it to be a classic Disney animated film like "Bambi" or "Cinderella," which is a way of saying that it was not on my "must have" list of Disney movies. Then I watched this 50th Anniversary Platinum Edition of "Sleeping Beauty" and all I can say is that however I saw this film for the first time it was NOT in this expanded version that has restored the original Super Technirama 70 dimensions of the film. This film has to be one of if not THE best Disney film there is. The story is great, the voices perfect, the songs brilliant! My favourite song from Aladdin is probably Friend Like Me but that's because I love Genie. However, all the songs are great in this film, there's none that you roll your eyes to because Disney have that great way of including a lovely slowie into a film but still having the humour there (like with A Whole New World). Loved this film when I was little and chuffed now that my littl'un loves it too. Great fun for family viewing and still funny for adults!

It's Family Guy, you either love it or hate it and no amount of gushing from me will change your mind. If you're interested I gave it 4 stars because although the episodes in the set are still blummin' good, it's not the best Family Guy has ever been. It's important to point out that there is nothing new in this set. ALL the episodes have already been shown on BBC3 and so please don't rush into thinking you're getting in ahead of TV audiences because you're not. Make a note also of the comments from other reviewers here regarding this not being a complete series and then write to your MP to complain!

Each time I have seen a film from Pixar Studio, I have been impressed not only with its animation, but excellent plot too. This time, however, Pixar Studio has rendered a true cinematic animation masterpiece, one which should be recognized as memorable as the great Walt Disney films of the 1930s and 1940s. A masterpiece which ought to appeal to kids of all ages. In "Wall - E" Pixar has a spellbinding example - maybe the first - of a romantic science fiction thriller that lacks a dull moment, even though much of the film lacks substantial dialogue. Another Great Season for The Simpsons. Have been looking forward to this coming out for some time. Can;t believe its taken so long. I would have given this a higher rating if it wasnt for the packaging. Unlike the other Limited Edition Simpsons boxset (i.e. Homer Head boxset etc) this comes slightly smaller where the discs are stuffed into cardboard sleeves which can be quite hard to get out, and also have to touch the readable side of the disc with your fingers leaving grubby marks. Also the packaging is very confusing and you are lucky to find the right disc you are looking for, first time. As long as you aren't fussy about the packaging then this is a must buy!

This is exactly what you would expect of a "Chipmunk" film. Lots of hilarious slapstick humour, silly, but predictable storyline, plus the enigmatic, if somewhat over-egged Chipmunk voices. Storyline, of this mixed real film and CGI, is basically of an aspiring songwriter, struggling to write any kind of song, which is where Alvin, Theodore and Simon come in. From there the hilarities start and the predictable plot unwinds. Not really for "adults", but for all kids everywhere, this is a great film. We put it on in the car for the kids whilst we were driving on holiday, and there was blissful peace from the back, apart from the regular bouts of laughter.

This film is awsome! It really does make the little mermaid trilogy complete. Finding out about ariels mother n about family life that you dont get to know about in the first movie. This film is a lot better than the second film they created with melody (ariels daughter) the animation was rushed and story didnt seem to be as thought out as the other two. So it was nice to watch the final film as it should be. If your fans of the little mermaid then you defo need to buy this film! I grew up with ariel since I was 3 and now being 21 I still luv to watch them over and over again! :)
