Being a huge fan of 'Super Joe' and having watch all the other DVDs with him i had to get this one and , like all the others this was fantastic, packed full of fights and action it really gave the best possible story of where Joe came from and how far he has come. With so many fights and at over 3 hours long this is the most comprehensive story of Joe, would recommend to any Joe or boxing fan, well worth the watch go buy it!

A perfect, yet in many ways a very different, companion to the brilliant documentary When We Were Kings. Saw this on TV - reviting stuff and a very different portayal of the mighty Ali as was brought forward in When We Were Kings.

Occasionally I was lucky to catch an episode of this on TV but they were shown at dodgy times. Now i can watch whenever I want! bargain price, and very entertaining - one of the best buys i have ever made

This era of boxing has always been my favourite. After the great heavyweights of the 60's and 70s, such as Ali, Frazier, Norton, Forman etc, were winding down their careers, the focus of boxing came to the lower divisions (middleweight and welterweight). Roberto Duran, Thomas 'the Hitman' Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvelous Marvin Hagler were 4 great fighters in and around the same weight division. These great warriors fought each other over 3 different weight classes and set the boxing world alight and kept this sport in the mainstream. However, the problem with this documentary is that it is cheaply produced. The fights are covered well but this film is a world away from the fantastic 'Champions Forever' DVD. If I remember correctly this is a late 90s production that was once sold on Amazon.com in region 1 VHS format and was titled " David Carradines Tai Chi For The Mind & Body" and received mostly impressive reviews. This long awaited UK DVD version has the added bonus of some nice stuff in the extras menu and also the advantage of being able to choose either the AM (mind) or the PM (body) routine at the push of a button and without any old fashioned fast forewarding. It is a shame they never kept the Mind & Body title but that does not take away the fact that this is very simple and highly enjoyable and beneficial couple of Tai Chi workouts The first session is the AM (mind) Tai Chi and fine for any time of day.
