I like top gear and indeed Clarkson, but left alone for these income christmas churn and burn dvd's the script reviews and content is lacking.... I have purchased all his prev xmas editions/books etc etc , but after wasting money on this DVD...never again... Jeremy you need a better producer, a decent script and production values that dont make your dvd's look like you and a mate went wild with a vidcam one friday arvo in order to make a bit of xmas coin for the clarkson household again..... v lazy Jeremy

`Dead Set' is a TV show based around a fictional season of Big Brother during a zombie apocalypse. The remaining contestants as well as some of the production team try to survive in the only place that seems safe - the BB house. I wasn't expecting much from this to be honest. I love zombie films but I despise Big Brother but I watched the opening episode on E4 a few weeks back and by the end I couldn't wait until the next night to watch the rest. I've since bought the DVD and watched it all again - it is that good! I thought as it is based around Big Brother it would probably be tongue-in-cheek and be similar to something like Shaun of the Dead (which I love, by the way) but it was more in the style of 28 Days/Weeks Later with its ... Tell you what, this film was AMAZING! The CGI was so detailed and realistic (well.. as realistic as giant transforming robots can be!). I originally rented this on DVD, but got it on Blu-Ray earlier this week. I'd never compare this to the Back to the Future trilogy, but if you liked those films, you want some amazing scenes and some all round fun, this is definitely for you.

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said but... this series shows some of the most eye-popping, jaw-dropping, mind-boggling images you're ever likely to see. If you like nature programmes (in fact, even if you don't) it's impossible to imagine you won't be blown away by this documentary series...

after reading the 2 star review, it needs to be stated, to compare kylie to madonna is a total insult, kylie has something that madonna can only dream of....CLASS being that i live in the only country in the world it seems, that wont be graced with kylies tour, i can only count the days till this dvd arrives. it will without a doubt not disappoint in any way.

Impeccable acting. Speech and deportment faultless. How nice to be able to hear every word spoken, unlike some recent Austen adaptations, e.g. Kate Beckinsale and Keira Knightley, both of whom were far too 21st century slovenly.

After being a die hard fan back in the day, this is not just a definate must buy for any true fan but for anyone who owns a Boyzone album. Of all the live videos/DVDs that have ever been released on the Boyzone front I think this one is the best by miles, the show was fantastic and the editing of it exceptional.

I saw most of Long Way Down on TV when it aired and I loved it. I got the special edition dvd for Christmas and I'm still watching it 4 years later. I think that some of the comments of it not being a 'real' adventure can be justified but if you're expecting a documentary or exact life adventure then you're a little off the mark. It's a little bit documentary, little bit adventure and a whole lot human. Long Way Down has inspired me for the last 4 years and I would recommend it to anyone. If you like Motorbikes, travel, adventure, Ewan, Charley, or just even a good story - Long Way Down is the one for you.

I seem to remember that when this was shown on television (in the eighties?) Christine Edzard got a lot of stick for Little Dorrit. Personally I loved it. And now, twenty years later it has lost none of its brilliance. For the film 5 stars. The packaging leaves much to be desired. For such an important contribution to Dickens on DVD the presentation is shoddy and meagre. The 'extracts of interviews' with the leading players are short and disappointing. For the packaging 0 stars.
