This is my favorite disney movie of all time. great characters, great story and great songs.A feast for the eyes and ears. Perfect for those sick days spent snuggled under a duvet!

The Lion King...deep,moving,inspirational,and beautiful...not to mention hilarious too. artistic and wonderful...an aweinspiring Disney classic. my #1 favourite Disney film of all time. the songs range from hilarious to moving. the artwork is at its very,very best and shows the sheer beauty of Africa...and the animals of the wild look so very realistic. its an incredible masterpiece of a film...and demands more than 100 viewings. a sheer beautiful class act from the Disney studios...and by far the most breathtaking film i have ever seen. seriously.

now it may be a classic, but i'm afraid i was really disappointed with this film. my 5 yr old was frankly bored watching this, it was very slow to get moving. the story line was not what i was expecting. the jimmney cricket / conscience was to abstract for him to understand in the way it was presented. and there was a terrible bit later on with pinnochio getting drunk and smoking cigars. that bit raised a few tricky questions. what i had expected the main story line to be - pinnochio's nose growing long when he lied, occured only once for about 20 seconds in the middle of the film and never again. we will not be watching this one again sadly not enjoyable or educational

The fact alone that the lean beautiful body body on the front of all the videos belongs to Callan - 47 at the time - should make you hit the One Click button right now. This is quite simply the best programme for changing your body shape. I use Jenny Rivett (with Lorraine Kelly - Figure Happy) for my aerobics, and Callanetics three times a week to tone. I thought I was born with a big bum. I wasn't. Within ten days of using this video it had completely changed shape. My waist was tiny - the best EVER excercise for the waist and legs I have found, you can almost see them whittle down before your eyes, and so easy, no sweating and no pain! We had to do a christmas carol at school for gcse and we watched the real video but I was told to watch this and i found out that i had it in the cupboard!! I watched it during christmas and now I have to watch it at least 10 times each christmas it gets you in the holiday mood its awesome!!!!......If you don't have it already then buy it please PLEASE !! its awesome :D xXx

This is one of the best Disney films ever - the story and the songs are brilliant and really catchy. I would love to buy this on DVD as my tape is getting worn. Please Disney do a DVD - everyone loves this film!!!

I've always been reluctant of sequels especially the Disney ones. They've never sounded as good. However we recieved this second hand and my sister decided to watch it..Out of interest once reading the case I decided to sit and watch through it and I was surprised to find it was not as bad as I thought it might. I do love follow up stories, if they are done properly and this was done very well. An enjoyable follow up to the original and sounds better than the third and some of Disney's latest work. I love story by all accounts, which means it treads the same lines but the history and the consequences of that history is what makes it worthwhile, as is Timon and Pumba who are still as funny if not moreso. This is a very well-directed film. The great joy of watching a Branagh-directed Shakespeare is the effort put into ensuring that the diction is as clear and natural as possible without losing the strength of the text. The cast is excellent, Derek Jacobi and Kate Winslet in particular; even cameos for which you would perhaps have doubts - such as Robin Williams, who impresses with his characterisation of Osric, and Billy Crystal as the gravedigger - work. Indeed, the repartee between Billy Crystal and Simon Russell-Beale in the graveyard scene is the funniest I have ever witnessed. The colour and sets are spectacular, all filmed in 70mm, allowing for great richness and definition.
