I was first introduced to this film as a child and have recently rediscovered it at age 23. I still love it. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are so hilarious as the evil Sanderson sisters and the musical numbers are fab. I agree there should be a soundtrack. Definately one to watch, kids will love it, I put it on for my younger brother and he loved it. The only thing that creeped him out was the talking cat, think Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This cat is Sarcastic, dry and ultmately hilarious. Give it a go people. Bette Midler is ace.

I loved the first Little Mermaid film (I even had a fish called flounder and the Arial Barbie Doll!) but I really didn't like this sequal. I felt the plot lacked tension and the characters, great in the first film, have become incredibly annoying, especially Arial who has become some madly obsessed mother who is determined to keep Melody, her daughter, out of the sea whatever it takes after Ursula's sister, Morganna has threatened to harm the little girl. Of course in true film fashion Melody, who has a strange lure to the sea and wants to be a mermaid completely ignores her mothers warning and goes into the sea anyhow. I always loved The Little Mermaid, It signalled a new beginning for disney after a few less than successful films, they got back that magic we saw in some of their early films and produced another classic. I was over the moon when disney released The little mermaid again, as i hadn't bought it the first time round, but held off buying it for a while to see if it lowered in price as I couldn't find it for under £20 anywhere(Didn't know about amazon then)then i saw that they were releasing this boxset with a sequal and a prequal at only £35 so i looked on a few websites to pre-order it and found it here on amazon for an even better price of £25, what a bargain! Brother Bear is a wonderful animation - it isn't violent and it has the right balance between comedy and drama. The storyline is engaging and the characters and some of the cameos in this film are hysterical. This is a film for all the family and it is a truly wonderful children's animation combined with Phil Collins' musicianship that brings the film to life. Highly enjoyable.

Although clearly about the same characters, these films are quite different in a number of ways. The first has all the elements of a teen film: there's Mia's choice between everything she's ever known and her duty as a princess, the best friend who's alienated as Mia's character picks 'the other crowd', some posh frocks, a love interest that may or may not work, and lots of dashing about at the end, where we receive the final twist in the plot. Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews give excellent performances and most age groups will enjoy the film. I have to say I prefer the second film. The Lion King...deep,moving,inspirational,and beautiful...not to mention hilarious too. artistic and wonderful...an aweinspiring Disney classic. my #1 favourite Disney film of all time. the songs range from hilarious to moving. the artwork is at its very,very best and shows the sheer beauty of Africa...and the animals of the wild look so very realistic. its an incredible masterpiece of a film...and demands more than 100 viewings. a sheer beautiful class act from the Disney studios...and by far the most breathtaking film i have ever seen. seriously.

OK the FX of Tron are nothing to todays. But this film shows the level of CGI in 1982 the extra features illustrate how the FX are achieved and what a struggle this film was. Also the extra features tell the story of Tron from its earliest incarnations to the finished film. The film itself is not only a great story but it shows the level of computing at the time. Tron is in fact an Antivirus in a world before antivirus programs were even thought of.

For people who look back to remember with nostalgia the days of the classic fireman sam series this is the perfect remedy to missing the hero next door. The episodes are well preserved, and to be fair haven't dated too much - they were just as good as I remembered first time around. For Sam fans, or those wishing to introduce him to a new generation, this product is brilliant. Beware the name of this set - though this claims to be the complete collection of all 32 classic episodes one key episode is absent, the 20 minute Christmas Special "Snow Business". I'm not really sure why this episode is excluded, as it makes the set feel incomplete.
