This is an excellent product. I got this when my little girl was a few months old, but unlike some of the other reviewers' children, my girl wasn't glued to the set. Don't get me wrong, she was interested but not fascinated. At 17 months now in September '07 I have started to put it back on for her and she is now transfixed by it. I was amazed by how quickly she was picking up on things, shouting "Choo" when the train comes on (as it often does) and how excited she gets when the furry animals come on. I have just ordered the box set as I wanted the baby shakespeare for her and the box set was a bargain compared to getting them all individually. I regard Lady and The Tramp as one the best Disney classics that I have watched. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this classic. Disney has delivered a masterpiece with this fine piece of animation feature length. Lady and The Tramp truly reflects the key values and qualities of what Disney films entail, which include endless humour, uplifting music and colourful characters. The storyline is a sweet romantic tale about two loveable dogs; a Lady (Spaniel) and Tramp (Irish terrier) and the innocence of this special bonding is something to really admire. The setting of the movie is based in the 1950's, which is beautifully delivered with wonderful animation you can highly praise within that specific time. With technology highly available today ... I really didn't like this film. I found it a bit boring and overall a bit too cheesy. It was a disappointment because the book was so good. Usually if I like a film, I watch it more than once but this one I really didn't want to see it again. I would rather read the book again. Maybe this film just wasn't my cup of tea, it may be good for other people.

This sequel to the rescuers was something special to disney, as this is the first sequal of feature animation to also become a feature. This is currently the only sequel to date to become a feature; this shows disney had great expectations and faith in this film. This film has a similar story style to the original film, where a kid gets captured and its up to the rescue aid society to come to the rescue. The character cast in this film is amazing, and the animators do an incredible job at portraying emotion and expression through them. This film also, as many may not know, include disney first 3d visual effects in 2d animation. My daughter is nearly five, and has entered the Barbie age. This sequence of four stories are good as they can be either watched in sequence, making it a long entertainment also for grown ups, or separately, as there is a little summary of the previous movies at the beginning of each next one. The stories are simple, naive and very predictive, but suitable for the age-group three-to-ten-ish, and passes all the typical righteous messages, of good defeating bad (and the baddies are bad, but also funny - no violence), educational messages, etc, etc, in a colourful computer animation, with very pleasant graphics. It is at least six hours of watchable films, and definitely worth the money! My daughter's favourite is Mermaidia, she must have watched it at least five times only ... Read More:
