I remember the first Batman with Michael Keaton playing the part of Batman and Jack Nicholson playing the Joker and the hype surrounding it. At the time I thought it was a pretty good film. Then the sequels happened and various big name actors played the parts of both our hero and the villains. They films got worse each time they mad another.

After a few years off Christian Bale became Batman and he plays the part to perfection. This film is even better then Batman Begins (Or Batman 5) and Heath Ledger is amazing in the part of the Joker. It is sad that this is his last film and his greatest performance.

The plot is based upon the standard super hero film. The action and sets are fantastic. What sets it apart is Heath ... Read More:

This type of show does not come along often enough. Well written, superbly acted, fast paced, compelling and thought provoking. You are hooked after the first 5 minutes. It was late and my husband and I made the mistake of thinking we would only watch about 20 minutes of an episode. We were riveted to our chairs for the entire hour. I'm not even sure we blinked. To those having trouble hearing it, on the "Desktop" at the beginning, use your up, down, left or right remote keys and navigate over to the phone and hit Play. It will give you an option of stereo (2) or monaural (I think, the computer voice is hard to understand) (5). We found it easier to understand on (2) stereo. Then pick the episode you want to watch. Bottom line: This is a great show. Don't miss it! ... Read More:

I bought this because it would save me space. It's the size of a normal DVD box, feels great and looks slick.

The DVD's in themselve are great as everyone knows. A fourth? It might be in the pipeline but wasn't written by the guy who wrote the original books.

The story as it goes in brief if you haven't already discovered. Bourne is an agent for the US government. Sent to do a job which goes array. He losses his memory and from the beginning of the first film, Bourne tries to recall who he is and tries to work out his memories.

The plot starts in the Med. and takes us on a rollercoaster of a ride. Visiting all the big hitters in Europe. France, Germany, England to the USA for a grand finale.

It's just great.

You can try to compare Spooks to US series like 24 but for me Spooks is on a whole different level to 24. After a few short series 24 is starting to go stale with the same kind of plots being played out season after season. The explosions get bigger but the bottom line is still the same. Spooks on the other hand seems to go from strength to strength with every passing season. Yes there are only 10 episodes per season but that gives you some idea of the amount of thought that goes into every episode. I think the reason Spooks gets stronger with every episode is because it doesn't rely on the explosions and gun-battles that 24 does to make an impact. Spooks relies on it's storyline, some fantastic acting and so much realism that you actually finish an episode thinking `bloody ... Read More:

We watch four middle aged men enter a down-at-heal office. They take seats around a table. Thay say nothing. One at the end coughs and asks "Shall we begin?" One to the side huffs audibly and then the opening credits rolls.

How brave a start is that? Who would start a major TV serial like that these days? Ive seen "Tinker Tailor..." five times now and look forward to watching it a again. If there was a fire and I could run to save just one DVD this would be the one.

Bad acting, dull nonsense of a script, poorly paced and directed.
Anyone giving this pathetic excuse for a tv programme 5 stars must have a 1 star life.
Stop sitting indoors watching hour upon hour of this patronising rubbish and find some friends instead.
Preferably ones who don't like this bunk.

Yes, another new series, the 14th to be exact, but the makers have done it again. Still the best detective series on TV, this new offering is superbly enjoyable.

The actors have got older in real life as well as in the series and this is none the worse for that. Frost (David Jason) has mellowed a little, as he and George Toolan (John Lyons) begin to learn that the job is a little more dangerous than when they were younger. Frost even shows his long suffering boss Mullett (Bruce Alexander) a little respect, these days.

The show maintains its enjoyable feel good factor, as other old friends such as Ernie Trigg (Arthur White) are still based at Denton Police Station. So continue to enjoy the big hearted Jack Frost, the unconvetional policeman with an instinct for moral justice, ... Read More:
