We have to bear in mind this movie was first made in the 1980`s and cannot be judged along with disney of today. It is indeed a brilliant and engrossing movie, still loved by children - but it seems, judged too harshly by adults who clearly expect `more` these days. The 6 year old i bought it for absolutely loves it and watches it over and over..

DVD : Shrek [2001]
As a book is opened, and Shrek tells the story of a prince and a princess and utters the words "Like that's ever going to happen" does the film engage the audience and set the tome for a thoroughly enjoyable family adventure with good comedy, interesting protagonists and an entertaining narrative.

When we first see Shrek's appearance we instantly gasp, but are instantly laughing and amazed as the credits role and observe an Ogre in his natural habitat, bathing in mud and eating gross things. This opening is very inviting and invites us into an unknown world and the life of a different character that is far from your average looking everyday hero. Shrek, a big and nasty looking man, is a symbol, an icon if you will, of defying odds ... Read More:

I definately think, that out of all the Pokemon movies (and there are dissapointingly a lot of them which cheapens the whole franchise) Pokemon The Movie 2000 is one of, if not the best. It's only competator is obviously the first movie which cannot be surpassed by any of the others. The plot is very typical and uninspired but when I first watched this so many years ago, it inspired me. Pokemon has always managed to inspire me and it still does now. I JUST bought the movie again after not seeing it for many many years and I enjoyed it just the same if not more. I think this movie gets the balance right between the new Pokemon that are starting to creep into the Pokemon world and the old ones we love so much. There's great humor delivered by our favorite ... The Shaun the sheep series appeals on a variety of levels because it has captured the art of sharp visual comedy & mixed it with the ridiculous.

Great as a pick me up. You'll be surprised how addictive it is - you'll have the theme locked into your brain after one viewing.

The Tom & Jerry Classic Collection covers 159 of the 161 cartoons in chronological order, thus the first half of the DVD covers the remaining Hanna-Barbera era cartoons that weren't covered in Volumes 1-4.

The cartoon series was in decline by this point, and for whatever reasons, the CinemaScope cartoons were put into pan-and-scan meaning you sometimes miss a little of the action. However, this notwithstanding, many of the cartoons are good.

The second half features all of the cartoons from the Gene Deitch era, hence the sharp drop in quality. It didn't help that MGM gave the Czech team a very limited budget. In general these cartoons are creepy, unsettling, contain one-dimensional and evil characters, and laughs are few and ... Read More:

This film to me is my second favourite Disney after Beauty and the Beast. Why they don't carry on doing cartoon animation is beyond me since I'd rather watch this 10, 000 times over than ever look at Cars EVER again. Amazing film! you HAVE to watch it!

Overall looking from a movie point of view, it's not bad at all. As a fan of Pokemon i like watching the series, the movies and playing the games. I like the way the movie was produced and done. I like the visual effects, which some say may not work. But i think overall it's a nice family film, and i can't see a Pokemon fan being disappointed. But great to check out!

We love Bob it's just a real shame there are so few stories on it.
Though all 4 of these stories are very good!
