I got this movie for my birthday, and I watched it about three times over. If you haven't seen the movie, then this is the story. A young boy (who is actually a young Prof. Oak) ventures into the forest where Celebi lurks. He doesn't know this, but when a Scyther and Houndoom catches Celebi, the boy (named Sammy) saves the Celebi. It travels to the future and they meet Ash, Brock and Misty and Pikachu, but Celebi has already fled. They find the afraid Celebi in a small cave, but Sammy takes it and Celebi takes a great liking to Sammy and Ash. When Celebi grows weak, they bathe it in the Lake of Life. I bought this DVD for my daughter, who loves watching MY FRIENDS TIGGER & POOH on the Playhouse Disney channel, and especially enjoyed last years' feature length episode THE SUPER SLEUTH CHRISTMAS MOVIE. Given its title of HUNDRED ACRE WOOD HAUNT and spooky Halloween-themed packaging, you'd be forgiven for presuming that this is a brand new feature length story in a similar vein (clearly what Disney WANT you to think, in my opinion), but beware - this DVD simply cobbles together six random episodes of MFT&P that have already been shown MANY TIMES before on television. And if this isn't bad enough, NOT ONE of the featured episodes has anything at all to do with Halloween! The only (rather tenuous) link to the 'spooky' ... Read More:

I loved this film as a kid, and am glad that it hasn't lost any of it's magic now that I've grown up a bit! I'd assume this film gets many comparison's with Pixar's 'A Bug's Life', well, don't tell them I told you so, but I actually think Antz has the edge over that film. The animation is faultless, the story line suitable for both a younger and older audience, theres characters you love, and others you love to hate, and a feel good message at the end of it all - don't be afraid to dream, and if we all stick together, we can achieve anything. Great film!

The same goes for Region 2 Hong Kong Phooey. Get the Complete Box Set from the well known high street music/DVD shop or their online store as it will of course be cheaper. It's exclusive to them at the moment. No doubt these box sets will be generally available but not for a while. I only give it One star because of the way these are packaged. The content however is a true Hannah Barbera cartoon classic which gets 4 stars. The top Five stars goes to Wacky Races in my book.

Very impressed with the speed and effeciency of delivery. Watched it this afternoon, it has not lost any of its magic - well worth the money.

A superb movie. You really have to know the story of the series, or else you'll get confused with the characters, but the series is great too. Of course, this being Cowboy Bebop, the music in the movie is STUNNING. The opening credits song is simply awesome.

Can the Beatles save Pepperland? Remember we all live in a Yellow Submarine. Instead of just buying the soundtrack, buy the movie and you have them both. I guess I will have to buy it also to hear "Hey, Bulldog!" Of course as with most movies there will always be someone one that prefers the original and knows that it was cut that way on purpose. And now it is time for a whole new generation to enjoy.
