I am not usually a fan of animations but watched this for review purposes for a website. It is absolutely fantastic. Beautifully animated, perfectly cast and hilarious and touching in equal measure, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This is exactly what you would expect of a "Chipmunk" film. Lots of hilarious slapstick humour, silly, but predictable storyline, plus the enigmatic, if somewhat over-egged Chipmunk voices.

Storyline, of this mixed real film and CGI, is basically of an aspiring songwriter, struggling to write any kind of song, which is where Alvin, Theodore and Simon come in. From there the hilarities start and the predictable plot unwinds.

Not really for "adults", but for all kids everywhere, this is a great film. We put it on in the car for the kids whilst we were driving on holiday, and there was blissful peace from the back, apart from the regular bouts of laughter.

Even though this DVD is quite old, it has some of the best Family Guy episodes. The content on the DVD really shows how Family Guy became so popular. Each episode will make you laugh out loud even if your in the worst of moods 10/10.

The opening shot is of downtown New York City. Only these aren't normal buildings but towers of blocks of trash. WALL-E (voiced by beeps and Ben Burtt), our hero, is a glorified trash compactor who has made the mountains. As we follow him across the vast landscape, we learn that he is the last of his kind and that he is indeed on earth. Humans fled years ago because they bought into the commercialism of the Buy-n-Large stores that ruled the earth. The resulting garbage overran the planet.

But WALL-E is not a mindless robot. He is curious and collects bits and pieces of things that are still intact. At night, he takes these to his bunker where they are on display a la Ariel. His only companions are a cockroach and a video tape of Hello ... Read More:

I seriously doubt that I have to take the time to explain what Family Guy is, as the chances are that you - like so many others are a fan, or at the very least have seen some episodes.

In my opinion this second season of Family Guy considerably improves on the first, which is not something that's easy to do as season one was nothing less than fantastic. But Family Guy season two is packed to bursting point with hilarious and sometimes outrageous jokes. Seth MacFarlane never fails to deliver pure comical entertainment. It's good to be given a daring show that not afraid of offending people (on that note if your easily offended then you probably should avoid Family Guy.) I would have to say the best episode in the season is "Let's go to the hop." I mean teenagers ... Read More:

Petend you have kids, I bought this because I am a bagpuss fan and even though I am 36 and was single when I bought this I was not discouraged. It brought back my childhood and triggered many great memories of the 70's when my late mother would watch bagpuss with me, heck even my dad likes it. It even helped me nab a girlfriend as after I told her "just because I own the Complete Bagpuss on DVD, I am not a soft touch!" mind you As I work in a nursery this may play a Part.

After finally convincing my brother to watch an episode of Family Guy, infuriatingly it turned out to be this one. It's really not up to the standard I've come to expect of the series' writers, it was pretty lame, really, obviously written by Star Wars fans for Star Wars fans. Now he refuses to watch it at all and thinks I'm daft for liking it. Crud.

What is so exquisite about Sleeping Beauty is that it looks like a medieval tapestry coming to life. If you look closely at the details in the backgrounds you can see little twists in the leaves and curves in the tree bark which overall gives an ornate and opulent look still refreshing to this day. It was the most expensive film in it's day, it took over four years to make and Walt Disney stated to his artists and animators that they should take their time over it, make it beautiful and so it came as a shock when it didn't do all that well in the cinemas. It wasn't really able to communicate to an american youth who were smoking things they shouldn't and it seemed this highly romantic film was too idealistic in it's portrayal of young love, it felt as if it should have been released earlier than ...
