If you have watched the series from start to finish, then this is an obvious must see. And whilst i did really enjoy the movie i do not think it was perfect.

Good points: Great action, compelling plot, good overall ending to the series.

Bad Points: They didn't round up some of the other characters stories (Winry for example). I wasn't convinced by the story and found it a bit botched in places, i thought it was a good idea to include aspects of our world into the overall story but to be honest i was expecting a little more alchemy.

Overall: A great way to end a fantastic series and a must watch. However, for me it failed to live up to the epic standards of the series and really i would give "The Conquer ... Read More:

Well, I've no bones with the packaging, so no loss of stars for that. This deserves all five.

I am not a devotee of anime by any means, most of it that I've seen is purile and annoying. However, there are some real gems out there and this is one them and while not suitable for very young children, it will have a very broad appeal. This is not a cheesy romance, not a sci-fi fest, not a violent supernatural bloodfest, not a swords and sorcery fantasy epic, nor is there any macho brutality, nor any barely clad females. This is what we used to call fantasy before Dungeons & Dragons came along!

This is a beautifully realised world, the societies and their costumes remind me of the Autrian-Hungarian empire, the floating battleships ... Read More:

Filmed in the early nineties this was one of the first computer game to movie adaptations that I ever watched and it still ranks as one of the worst that I have seen. What little plot that the film has revolves around M. Bison, a South-East Asian dictator capturing some hostages and the Allied Nations mission to attempt to retrieve them. Throw in some sub-plots about revenge and con-artists, some lacklustre special effects, some awful casting and badly choreographed fights and what you get is a movie that fails to deliver for both fans of the game and general action movie fans.

There are very few redeeming features to this film but I would say that Raul Julia is one of them, giving a brilliant pantomime performance of the villainous General M. ... Read More:

I bought this recently and thought kool ... lets give it a whirl and lil peek to see how it is ... mmm .... i fell asleep (seriously) about half way through the first one, the action was so on and off all the time and the story plot i found the first time through ... you were like ... what the hell .... if this is all about karas (who are the protectors of citys, each one has there own)then why the hell is a demon killing its own kind? ... and didn't karas just get its arms sliced off?!

Anyway the first one ... graphics pretty kool, action when there is some is great and as i said its a lil on off how you follow it through ... i've watched karas about three times since and the more i watch it the more i seem to like it but hey ... i'm just odd lmao ... Read More:

I finally got hold of the new 'Second Barrage vol 2' dvd,and WOW!..really! its sooo good.
Somehow they managed to turn the action up to 11!..bullets fly everywhere, buildings burn, cars explode, and lots of Bounty Hunters & wannabes trying to get a slice of the action into the bargain!

All four episodes are full of action, but the first two really stand out as being full of gunplay goodness! Each episode also shows us more of the charachters relationship with each other, especially Rock and Revy in the later episodes- which is always great fun!

Overall, another great Black Lagoon release..and worthy of your money.
Id have to say that for me this series is easily up there with the likes of 'Cowboy Beebop' and 'Ghost in the shell'..truelly ... Read More:

Things really pick up pace in Bleach season 2 as it excels in everything that made the firsts series great. Ichigo and his friends have infiltrated the soul society and with the goal of rescuing the soul Reaper Rukia. After the events of the previous series, Rukia is being held captive by her fellow soul Reapers and is condemned to die. Her crime - giving Ichigo Kurosaki her soul Reaper powers and therefore betraying the rules of the soul society. Unable to let his friend die at the hands of the soul reapers, Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, Uryu and Yoruichi stop at nothing to save their beloved comrade.

For all you action anime junkies out there, this is just the series for you. Bleach is a character driven action adventure shonen (boys) anime that has been growing in popularity ... Read More:

I bought this as it was cheap and had favourable reviews. I watched it and found a strictly by the numbers animated space adventure.
The animation is excellent and the use of CGI and cell-shaded animation works well, with the odd pencil/charcoal-drawn montage included too. However I found the story dull and uninvolving, and my attention wandered from time to time while I watched the film.
I don't recommend this film.

I bought the film based on the good reviews it got here on Amazon, but I was disappointed, and I don't think it was because of my high expectations either. The concept looked very interesting, this seemed like a great thriller, but sadly, it wasn't. For some reason the film never engages you, there is never any real suspense or excitement. I guess you could say that I wouldn't have cared if someone had turned the film off midway through.

I find myself thinking that this might have been a super thriller if there had been a different director or scriptwriter team, I feel the problem with the slow drive of the film lies in the execution. It's a shame that it ended up being so boring.
