If you have watched the series from start to finish, then this is an obvious must see. And whilst i did really enjoy the movie i do not think it was perfect. Good points: Great action, compelling plot, good overall ending to the series. Bad Points: They didn't round up some of the other characters stories (Winry for example). I wasn't convinced by the story and found it a bit botched in places, i thought it was a good idea to include aspects of our world into the overall story but to be honest i was expecting a little more alchemy. After the immense success funimation has had with releasing the remastered Dragon Ball Z series, the same treatment for the movies was inevitable. This 2 disc collection contains the first two movies: 'Dead Zone' and 'The world's strongest'. It comes in a nice steelbook packaging, like the previous Trunks and Bardock double feature. I happen to own an older DVD release of these first two movies, (In the first srike box set) and I must say there is an incredible difference in quality. The movies in this set look absoluteley beautiful as the picture has been cleaned up immensly. When I saw these films prior to being remastered, I didn't enjoy them as much. im not a huge fan on anime, however, this film is brilliant! studio IG excel themselves everytime time they put somthing out there, and maybe this film is a bit off the wall and twisted but credit is due to them to even contemplate releasing a film like this that people are always gonna either love or hate, but this film is really wourth your time. and it is (even if not troditionally) beautiful, in its own way. in the end of the day though, its up to you if you like it or not, but be open minded. oh and anyone who thinks this is hard to follow... well... i dont think i should say!
