This fourth and penultimate volume of the great Avatar animated series contains a further four episodes. The first episode of the volume (episode thirteen) sees Katara and Sokka sick after the storm of the last episode forcing Aang to go out on his own for medicine where he is captured by the newly promoted Admiral Zhao. This episode is my favourite from this volume with some great action and a good plot.

In episode fourteen Aang and his friends visit a village that has grown reliant on a powerful fortuneteller and will not believe the danger they are in. This episode has the feel of a filler episode about it but it is still as funny and entertaining as you would expect from this show. The episode also adds to the relationship ... Read More:

On the positive side:

- This DVD collection is better value than buying the films separately. There is a fair bit of material here for £20.
- Considering that `Voices of a distant star' was produced entirely by the efforts of one man (on a desktop PC), it should be regarded as a major achievement and inspiration to other film makers.

On the negative side:

- His sci-fi story lines are lightweight and underdeveloped (Philipp K. Dick this ain't!).
- The animation is workmanlike, but not spectacular (the CGI bits are the most effective).
- His use of background music is overbearing, and spoils the mood of the film.
- The dialogue is mostly touchy/feely adolescent nonsense, lacking ... Read More:

This Manga film is probably one one the greatest animation films from Japan in the last 20 years. I have seen this movie more than 10 times. Jubei is a great hero who is a bit reluctant to fight unless he gets payed. If you like classic style Manga then buy this. You will not regret it. I promise you good viewing. If you don't like it then there is something wrong with you.

- The music can some times be chessier than Nappa

GOOD - The price is (gob smack) cheap, If you don't like it ur not bankrupt
- Vegeta vs Goku is how it's TRULLY MEANT TO BE WITNESSED BY HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS
- The HD IS... WAW..... A 80'S CARTOON IS SOOO CRISP & CLEAR, They did A GREAT job on the picture

I have only recently started to listen to daft punk. But I decided to watch this. And I wasn't let down. This is a supurb anime film, but the difference is that there is no proper dialogue. Instead is the music from daft punk's second album, and this actually works really well. Also it has some great songs such as: Harder Better Faster Stronger, One More Time, Face to Face and Too Long. If you willing to see and listen to something different, then give this a go!

I guess it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway: visually this film is stunning. No doubt about it.

Unfortunately this fact only serves to intensify the disappointing nature of every other aspect of the movie. There isn't enough incident in the actual plot to sustain a five minute short and yet somehow the movie clocks in at about 90 mins. This is because the rest of the time is wasted on poorly written, pseudo-philosophical dialogue between characters you care nothing about on topics that could only be considered original or even halfway interesting by people who've never thought about anything ever before and interminable pointless scenes that seem to be an attempt to create a mood of reflective, understated sadness but which fail utterly due to ... Beautiful, stylish but it feels like a build up to a good story which ends way too soon.

Give the new revamped anime Blood+ a go instead.

a great season,+ for anyone who doesnt no these boxsets are all multi-regin and work on anything, dont rlly know wat dat guy sayin bout being incomplete ?, only bad thing is how weak they make the androids look in this season, it starts with trunks & gohan finding trunk's timemachine wich cell stole of trunks in the future to come to the past to absorb androids 17 & 18,piccollo,16 & tien give cell a bit of a challenge, eventully cell becomes complete with some help by vegeta, love the music (us version) when cell becomes perfect, cell easilly defeats accended vegeta, and trunks is to slow after they both came out of time chamber, finishes with cell aranging the cell games, while goku & gohan in da time chamber, cant wait for season 6

This is it: The 33 Episode long Frieza Saga, featuring Piccolo's return, Vegeta realising he is not the legendary "Super" Saiyan and Gohan coming of age, as well as tons of fighting against the seemingly invincible Frieza. The action takes place place on distant planet Namek, which is now almost devoid of life, due to events in Series Two but there are lots of scenes of King Kai's Planet with Tien, Yamcha and co (moreso than Season two happily) and Earth.

This is a very good saga, there are some great fights spread across the first two Discs as well as tons of characterisation with Vegeta. It falters slightly in Disc 3 which is 6 episodes of Frieza VS Goku, it doesn't get interesting until he begins to form the Spirit Bomb. Disc 4 sees the Spirit Bomb make a direct hit on Frieza! But ... Read More:
