At first I was not sure about buying the DVD version of this album as I already had the CD and some of my favourites such as Holiday, Crazy For You & Live To Tell were not present. However, after buying it, I now prefer the DVD version. The reason for this is that the songs are in their original form and not mixed like on the CD. Plus videos such as the superbly camp Material Girl, the glossy Express Yourself and the 1940s themed Vogue all stand out as music video classics. Other highlights include the emotional Oh Father and the very early Lucky Star. If you do not own any Madonna albums I would strongly recommend this DVD album and 1989's Like A Prayer on CD.

This video should belong to every Em fan! It is even better if you dont have sky as you can see all the videos. It is just a videos of all his videos. There are no interviews, and is a lil too short for the amount of money you pay, but still it is an essential for all the Em fan's out there! BUY IT!

DVD : Rolling Stones : Let's Spend The Night Together
The Stones have earned their mantle for being real musicians. They can be rightly be called as legends having been responsible for Beggars banquet, Let it bleed, Sticky fingers and Exile on main street which are Classic albums essential for anybody who is into Rock music.

While they have produced serious stuff, they have never taken themselves seriously, they are a fun band and out to entertain. As, at the time this was filmed, they were nearing middle age, they were not out to shock to appeal to the teenyboppers, they were out to be as outrageous as possible and wallow in the 'debauched rock and roll lifestyle'.

IMHO, this is a perfect example of it.

Sure Jagger can't sing and the guitars sounded out of tune ... Read More:

I really love Britney, and am a HUGE fan, I brought this to add to my ever growing collection of Britney merchandise, I too bought this on a high after seeing her in Concert, the Concert was brilliant, so perhaps my expectations were a little high? It does have a lot of stuff on it that I hadn't seen before because I too don't live in America, but I was hoping for more of a personal touch to the DVD, the best bit is the Making the video, Toxic, this shows the best side of Brit, and shows (i think) the real person. This is the first Music/artist DVD I have bought, so I think I was expecting more, but on the back of the DVD it lists loads of stuff on it, and I just thought that there could have been more. More interviews with Brit, and less of the abc ... Read More:

I like the original film, although it's not as good as it could be, but it's the only real documentary of THE guitarist. This remastered version would have been nice upgrade for the original, but fake wide screen (thank you again WB) spoils it totally. I have the original 4:3 and it is 1/3 "bigger" than this fake wide screen versio, which cuts the picture. It makes me really mad why they have to do things like this, because the picture quality otherwise is much better than in the original! Only reason I'm keeping this version is the bonus disc.

I was expecting this to be rubbish. But it was cheap. So I bought it.

It's uncritical and not a great place to start if you don't know much about Jimi Hendrix, (or aren't really that interested) but it's full of interviews from a lot of people who were around at the time (his childhood, older, being famous). This + Charles Cross Biography + the 2 Disc Jimi Hendrix - a life story + Classic Rock Albums - Electric Ladyland
and you've covered a lot of territory.

A much much better spend than "Jimi Hendrix - Videobiography"

A Rockumentary about one the best albums of all time made by one of the best bands of all time, featuring input and comment by the band members and producers themselves cannot fail to be entertaining.

The Classic Album shows have one notable difference from the average programme of this genre. The Classic album series is not just a collection of cheap thrown away programmes dominated by cheesy commentary over a string of fuzzy repeated images with bad quality sound bites and quotes. The series has excellent production values featuring original footage, which centres around getting the old multi track tapes out, and separating out the parts (and in some cases playing along to them or performing the demo version) to demonstrate how the finished product was ... Elvis - The final chapter, its a must have for any Elvis fan who wants to know what really happened from the people who were there and who were closest to Elvis. Elvis was and is the king of rock'n'roll and this DVD shows how being the King took its toll on his life both in love and friendships. The only negative I found with Elvis - The final chapter is the 'lookalike' they used overlapping the interviews, I personnaly think that this spoiled the presentation but if you look past that then this is a great edition to any Elvis collection.
