What can I say - this is simply the best live rock/blues concert recording - EVER!
Clapton effortlessly demonstrating why he is in a league of his own.
Great(guitar)performance from Steve Winwood, superb playing from John Mayer, Robert Cray, Jeff Beck (where the heck did he find that bass player?), Derek Trucks, Vince Gill, et al. Spine-tinglingly good.

This is a great movie, the music and acting are fantastic, however the quality of the film is terrible, especially at the beginning. Little Anna Mae looked more like the Elephant Man on our copy of the DVD (unless we have a duff one) and spoilt our enjoyment of the film. But we hung on in and whether it got better quality or we just got used to it, it was a great film!

Like a cat prowling the stage Elvis was back and on top and once the nerves had gone there was no stopping him. From Guitar Man to If i can Dream and not a bad song or performance inbetween. Elvis was indeed back sadly only for a few more years.

Mr Rochette i suggest you remember it was recorded in 1968 and originally in mono so do your homework before slating something that is historical rather than cutting edge soundwise.

The world's first satellite-transmitted musical event, which was also in aid of the fight against cancer, gets a remarkable assembly makeover in this special deluxe compilation of material.

Elvis looks fabulous from the moment he first sets foot out of the helicopter on the beach on January 9th to his final bow on stage of the worldwide telecast concert in the early hours of January 14th. There are also some wonderful goodies on view in between, such as the complete rehearsal show that took place on the evening of January 12th and the specially recorded numbers for the US TV version of the show.

This is such a wonderfully historic occasion and you can bask in the glory of the fantastically remastered sound and picture. Elvis is in fine form as he ... Read More:

Sumptuously filmed in beautiful colours, and with a Dolby sound track that will have your upstairs neighbours hammering in rage on your ceiling with their walking sticks, this film presents a largely fictional account of Mozart's last years, and quite libellously portrays Antonio Salieri as Mozart's murderer. It's all about envy, God and getting your just deserts, according to one Amazon reviewer, and I suppose that according to this school of thought, the fact that it's a seriously inaccurate reconstruction of the past is besides the point. Mozart emerges as a highly precocious and slightly nauseating American kid with an irritating high-pitched laugh, brilliant at wowing the Viennese public, upper and working class alike, with colourful theatricals. His juvenile wifelet, also ... Read More:
