Hey fantastic show I have the DVD and I was so Happy Mr John took the time and realised that all the old stuff its what us punters want to hear. His Live shows are legendary and to have all this materail is fantastic. So I purchaed the Blue Ray Disc expecting to be blowen away with sound. What the hell is PCM 5.1?!?! My apmlifier thinks its PCM 2.0 no matter what I try. There are 2 options PCM 2.0 and PCM 5.1. "Its still sterio to me but I'm indifferent". Stick with the DVD version, it IS in 5.1 with the DTS option. It's filmed in HD so the DVD is going to shine when played on a Blue Ray player. Sooooooooooo disapointed!

The Who during the 69-71 was a period where they could do nothing wrong onstage, performance after performance they kept providing dramatic, crazy, loud and energetic concerts... The Isle of Wight is one of them. I had owned both the VHS & Normal dvd of the Isle of wight performance and always found it lacking something compared to the bootlegs I had before. But after purchusing the 5.1 surround sound I decided to buy this version. Keith's drumming is louder and clearer due to the sound as is John's bass which causes the ground to rumble. Pete is on top form providing excellent solo's on Young Man blues, Heaven & Hell etc. Roger's singing is excellent especially during the 'Tommy' performance.

I recently saw this show on NZ television. I thought Westlife was so amazing I just had to have the DVD. This is not available to buy in NZ so, thank goodness for Amazon. My copy was in my mail box when I arrived home from work yesterday and I managed to watch it three times before I went to bed!! An absolutely fabulous DVD from an absolutely fabulous group

The voice and footage of Elvis magically backed live by the original members of his 1970s band using latest technology. Run this DVD in a good player with quality sound equipment and you will be mesmerised. Play it loud and you will believe you are standing on the same stage. The band members still look and sound good 30 years on, and very obviously still got it all together. Also on stage are the Imperials, The Sweet Inspirations, the Stamps Quartet, and the Jordanaires.
