I bought this DVD about a week ago and wasn't disappointed. It captures Oasis in fantastic form, performing all their classic songs and some newer ones as well. Liam Gallagher, the quintessential Rock 'n' Roll star, is at his swaggering, charismatic best with Noel and Alan White as reliable as ever. The 2 new boys Bell and Archer look right at home in Oasis as well. Every song is performed with the famous swagger and confidence of Oasis, with Cigarettes and Alcohol, Roll with it, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever and Acquiesce standing out as phenomenal performances. Every song still sounds as fresh as it did when it was first released, and Dont Look Back in Anger still sends a shiver down the spine. I guarantee you could put this DVD on whatever ... Read More:

Set against 1990's Blond Ambition world tour, 'In Bed With Madonna' gives an inside view into Madonna's world. The film spans the tour from beginning to end and gives glimpses of a world that most stars of Madonna's calibre would rather their fans didn't see. Whether you believe that this is how Madonna really is or not is irrelevant. The film takes its audience on such an emotional and musical journey that you are left totally spellbound and breathless by the end of it -a Wizard Of Oz for the 90's; and you can't help but liking Madonna just that little bit more by the end of it too. (Just don't let Granny watch that performance of Like A Virgin about half way through the movie though!)

It's all presented nicely enough but the company that releases all these unnoficial DVDs is really just out there to get a bit more cash out of us fans by passing something old off as something new. That said, if you have neither, i definitely recommend getting this set as the two DVDs are pretty good and you get them for half the price they'd cost if you bought them both individually. This is, without doubt, a colossus of a DVD. Three great full concerts and an intersting documentary which is far more than the "filler" than these documentaries often are. The "Worried About You" scene in this documentary (even if it is contrived) is pure Rolling Stones magic. The three concerts are a stadium show at London's Twickenham (the day after a show had been cancelled because of Jagger's laryngitis). Jagger is on great form and you'd never have known he'd been ill the day before; an arena show at Madison Square Garden which features some nice not so regularly played tracks - "Monkey Man", "If You Can't Rock Me", "Let It Bleed" and "Thru And Thru", plus a storming "Midnight Rambler". Despite the hype, this was not Jimi's best concert: it had some great moments but in many places is rather shambolic. This is not surprising, as the Gypsy Sun and Rainbows was under-rehearsed. The footage is OK, although it concentrates on Hendrix (of course). Most of the Hendrix hits are there, along with new material like Mitch's `Beginnings' (aka Jam Back at the House, with composition credits going to Jimi) and 'Izabella'. The Star Spangled Banner and the instrumental which follows are the best things in the show. The DVD is almost twice as long as the original VHS release and has much better sound. I absolutely love this band but only really got into them recently; this CD helped fill in all the gaps in my knowledge. The documentary is very thorugh but never boring - interviews with family members are revealing and the band's honesty about their friendships is refreshing. There are also interviews with stars such as Paul Weller and Roger Daltrey; people the lads had been fans of who are now fans of the Stereos. The live CD is fantastic, as the band always are live. This CD is incredible value and gives a huge insight into a brilliant band - highly recommended!!!
