I bought the R1 version of this, hence why I know what's here :) Today's British kids may know some of the Sesame Street gang if they have watched Elmo's World, Play with Me, Sesame, or the newest edition showing on BBC2 NI, Sesame Tree, but it's just NOT the same. I may sound like a nostalgia buff here just muttering about the good old days, but even those who last saw Sesame Street here in the 80's can tell you that Sesame Street proper is an entirely different animal, with a greater variety of learning topics and tools at its disposal. This is a great DVD for kid,s, especially if they love Barney, it has everything in it including music, dancing, children helping out and playing, its also good fun for learning, our little girl loved it !!!

This is a great DVD for kid,s, especially if they love Barney, it has everything in it including music, dancing, children helping out and playing, its also good fun for learning, our little girl loved it !!!

I resisted going to see this film at the cinema as it didn't seem like my cup of tea. But after a colleague kept going on about how great it was, I gave in and watched it. I wish I hadn't bothered. I really cannot see what all the fuss is about. Now, if you've read any other DVD reviews of mine, you'll know I do like superhero films, sci-fi films etc. But Transformers really left me cold. It didn't keep my interest at all, but I had to watch it through to the end just to see if it got better. I'm afraid it didn't. There's no doubt that the special effects are impressive - but I just thought this comic book origination didn't translate well to screen. After watching Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas(which I thoroughly enjoyed),I decided to also buy it's sequel(being a lover of all things Christmas and Disney). It was only when I bought it,I realised it was computer animated... (This was also the first time the Disney characters were seen in 3D animation). 'Oh here we go'...I thought to myself. I usually find that when Disney uses computer animation(apart from Pixar,which is obviously brilliant),it takes the charm out,so I really dreaded seeing how awful this was probably going to be. This is a good one, featuring some of the later 'earlier' Pat stories. Now, what I want to see, is the very earliest Pat stories on DVD, I actually prefer the man's voice doing the women voices on the early stories and cannot believe that they are still not available on DVD. An oversight that surely must be put right soon!

This is a good one, featuring some of the later 'earlier' Pat stories. I am major fan of the Disney Pixar movies and always eagerly await the next one. I do like this film but personally I don't find it as funny as movies like Toy Story 1 & 2 and The Incredibles. Having said that there are some great characters in this film and being an animal lover I think all the rats are adorable. Overall though I would give the film itself 4 out of 5. As this is a 2 disc special with the animated shorts on, the overall package is definately a 5 out of 5. I would definately recommend getting this package as the shorts are great to watch. Some you will have already seen before but most you probably won't. I especially liked the alien abduction short, I almost wet myself laughing at that one. ckhead is the greatest song ever made, i go jamming to it every night in my room by my lonesome. the words are great, "ur a dckhead, and i hate u and i wish u were dead, u can GO and suck ur mamas...", oops the rest is too explicit to mention. but this amazing album, the greatest album ever made apart from paris hiltons. buy this and paris hiltons album. fantastic albums. which everybody should love.
