My daughter is 5 and she loves all the Barbie movies. We have them all on DVD and she watches them a lot. Sometimes kids films are hard for an adult to enjoy but the Barbie ones are all so well done and written that I don't mind watching them with her. This is a re-telling of the Charles Dickens story and they have adapted it for young girls. There is no grim reaper style spirit and they don't show the character's death so it is much nicer. Heartwarming tale about the true meaning of Christmas. Any little girl would love this movie.

this is one of the best films ive seen all year....for the people that have only voted this 3 stars or less...has problems. the effects are amazing and the storyline is good, i ave watched it twice in 2 weeks because its that good.

I purchased (with some excitement) this version on DVD as it says on the cover it's a "restored" version and the running time was stated as 86 mins opposed to the previous DVD release of 82 mins. I was convinced that it would be a "restored" version with the song "When Love is Gone" put back in... But sadly, it wasn't! Alas, it was just a re-package of the previous release. I've decided to keep it anyway and not take it back for a refund as I don't have it on DVD, but I have just bought the VHS version from Amazon so I can watch it this Christmas in it's full "RESTORED" version!

the film is great and it deserves a grammy. great actors in the film. i love the cats. good old documentary we have here. the making of snitsky's pineapple and many more. buy it with paris hiltons album. paris hilton even promoted this on mtv. she is a great singer. buy her album to day. and tine tuner's album. buy all 3 for just 2 pence.

Another great Barbie film and addition to the collection, the songs were quite poppy and very catchy and as usual there is a clear moral to the story. My daughter loved it and can't wait for Christmas Carol to come out!

Tell you what, this film was AMAZING! The CGI was so detailed and realistic (well.. as realistic as giant transforming robots can be!). I originally rented this on DVD, but got it on Blu-Ray earlier this week. I'd never compare this to the Back to the Future trilogy, but if you liked those films, you want some amazing scenes and some all round fun, this is definitely for you.

I am a fan of most of the Pixar films but have to say that I found this one to be slightly disappointing.It is brilliantly animated,Paris looks glorious and it is well voiced.For some reason though,'Ratatouille' just didn't hold my attention and it isn't a film that I would watch again. The highlight comes from the voice of Peter O' Toole as Anton Ego.He clearly has a ball as the arrogant food critic and all of the scenes he features in are a delight.On the whole I did feel that this isn't in the same league as 'Toy Story 1 & 2' or 'A Bug's Life'.A fair effort but not Pixar's best.

when asked what my favourite film is ill invariably say disneys Robin hood and the blank looks on the questioners face normally is just a comon occurance that until they have seen the film they dont understand why its so good! Children and adults alike will love this film, ok the graphics are dated but for 1973 they are very good, the story is jolly, heart warming and a great take on an old fable. The characters are all animals which makes a change, they are all voiced amazingly and fitting to the animal in every way! The film isnt long but with small children thats ok and the music gets stuck in your head for a good day after seeing it! Its a definate classic for families and for the disney lover this is a must have. if you havent seen ... Read More:

This was one of my favourite disney films when I was little and when I saw it on DVD fully restored with pristine picture quality I had to buy it. This may not be on the same terms as Lion King, Bambi, Little Mermaid and other disney classics we all know, in terms of popularity but this film has its own charm to it and is just as good as the others, with its sense of imagination, humour and positive messaging. This is a great film in its own right and for any disney fan or someone looking for a good family film it should be in your DVD collection.

The opening shot is of downtown New York City. Only these aren't normal buildings but towers of blocks of trash.
