I didn't really want to buy this DVD only its incredibly hard trying to explain to a 2 year old that HIS friends tigger and pooh (or tiddler pooh as it is known in our house due to limited vocabulary) aren't on tv 24 hours a day just waiting for him to tune in. Unlike a previous reviewer I knew exactly what to expect and that it was from the new disney series but I think if you forget that it has anything to do with the original books and drawings and take it on its own merit it is a lovely and very engaging series, which is ideal for toddlers.

This film has a very similar feel to the first movie. It moves at a similar pace and the story is just as mediocre. Its not a bad film by any stretch of the imagination, in fact, when in a certain mood I can happily watch this movie and enjoy it. However, just like the first film, it is nothing special but just about keeps you interested enough to watch the next installment. I like fantasy and escapism movies and although this is not as good as the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy or as funny as 'stardust' ... it is still better than others such as the terrible Eragorn. If you like the first film, even just a little, you should like this aswell. Slightly above average movie.

I bought this DVD for the kids to watch in the car during a long drive on holiday in France. I notice that all the other reviews are concerned with the quality/editing/dubbing etc, however my review is aimed at parents who need to keep their kids entertained! My children are 7 and 5, and they laughed for three solid hours. I don't know about other parents, but I was dreading the long drive, however the drive was a pleasure with this DVD playing. It was an unbelievable hit with them and they just loved it. It made for a very harmonious drive through France as we couldn't help laughing at the kids laughing in the back. A brilliant DVD that has become our children's favourite DVD of all time.

The 1970's saw a lot of variety shows on TV, but none were as unique as The Muppet Show. Here, you had large puppets doing the dances, singing the songs, telling the jokes, and performing the skits. And they do it well. It's hard to describe the typical episode because they have some variety. Each episode features a special guest star (more on that later) who is involved in a few of the scenes. There are usually a variety of skits and at least one or two song and dance numbers. And there's the behind the scenes drama. We are always treated to some backstage antics as poor host Kermit the Frog has to put up with the temperamental stars of the show. This is my favorite disney movie of all time. great characters, great story and great songs.A feast for the eyes and ears. Perfect for those sick days spent snuggled under a duvet!

How can anyone find this movie funny? Maybe it is OK if you are a big fan of Wallace and Gromit, but if you are used to American movies such as Over the Hedge, it is dull, dull, dull. Nowhere near as good as Over the Hedge or Madagascar. Everything starts with everyone in the town looking forward to a vegetable competiton, but that all changes when a few rabbits are on the loose, and Wallace is the Were-Rabbit (quite scary for youngsters) believe it or not. The veg competiton then turns into a big battle between Gromit, another dog Phillip, Lady Tottington and the Were-Rabbit (Wallace.) I thought the movie would bew abseloutely fantastic, but I found that I could not get a single laugh out of it. Do not buy, just get the famous Over the Hedge.

This has kept the same charming and beautifully presented stories faithfully. Jim Broadbent is perfect for Percy the Parkkeeper (despite the last thing i saw him in was Moulin Rouge - hilarious!). The stories are a little more involved than say Kipper or the Thomas stories, and are brilliant for children who are able to sit and listen to a story rather than just watch the pictures. And mommies and daddies will enjoy it too :)
