I got this film because it looked like a comedy on the front cover and i like comedy films and yes' it was very funny not rude just a nice and funny comedy. its adout a man looking for his father but on the way meets some snow dogs. A great film for all the family. A kid who lives next door to me said he had seen funner but i think he needs to get a since of humour because i think this is great. So if you like a film with good comedy buy this.

Tired with Halloween Pumpkin King Jack Skellington finds a land called Christmas Town and plans to make the festivities very frightening.

Tim Burton's vivid imagination has made him a modern day great and this is a sparkling gem with an acute perception of the holidays.

Opening with a catchy song "This is Halloween", Henry Selick's picture sets the tone for an entertaining and interesting adventure starring a spiderlike central character

Jack Skellington is a wonderful creation, filled with many human emotions including hope and challenge and is easy to watch. Danny Elfman has pitched the songs to match Skellington perfectly, especially when he first sees Christmas Town "What's this?"

I was very excited when I saw this old childhood favourite released on DVD. Sadly it now looks very dated. The picture quality is not great and I got bored before one episode. However the sound quality is good and I still enjoyed the theme tune. Strange when I was a kid I assumed Bod was a girl, only when I watched the DVD over 30 years later do I find he is a boy!!!

I have bought a few old favourites to share with my kids. Unfortunately Bod has lost its appeal. I wouldn't recommend buying this one, perhaps borrow it as I could not face watching even a full episode let alone the whole thing. This one will spoil your nostalgic memories. I had a much better experience with the 'Trumpton' DVD it still holds its charm.

I LOVE this movie!! It was one of the first Disney christmasmovies I`ve ever bought, and I watch it several times every year.

My favorite is "Mickeys christmas carol", it`s just the ultimate christmas movie. When Scrooge wakes up on christmas morning, takes a walk around saying merry christmas to everyone, and in the end where he delivers lots of gifts and food for poor Bob`s family, it`s awesome... :) I`m not that big a fan of the build-up around these short movies, mixing the new clubhouse stuff with old classics, but that`s such a tiny, tiny little piece of this, and it`s not THAT bad. "Pluto`s christmas tree" and "The Nutcracker" are also great classics. I think your inner child has to be well dead and buried ;) if you don`t like them just a little ... Read More:

I don't remember the TV series as a child, but I knew they existed and after having got back into the Narnia series around the time of the first movie I wanted to see what they were like.
The first impressions are that they are very faithful to the books- almost every aspect is just as you'd expect from the book. It obviously attracts criticism because of the age of it- the effects, costumes etc are very obviously outdated now, but despite this it holds up in general. Aslan is very well done- the main problem with him is the mouth movement, he's actually better done than I expected him to be! The talking animals are all blatantly people in animal costumes, but they are actually well done- obviously some are better than others though. I was pretty impressed with ... Read More:

Saw this in the theatre and wasn't all that thrilled - okay but not fantastic. On DVD it's a bit better (and much cheaper than taking four children to see it!). The animation is as good as others in it's class, the characters are well voiced and pretty cute and there were several "hidden" things to see if you were paying attention. The head of the homeowners association was a bit over the top and like another reviewer I found it stupid to put in a full grown hedge that wasn't there last fall not to mention a 40 acre subdivision. The "suburbs are evil" message was way overdone for my taste as well. Talk about indoctrinating kids from a young age. And to assume that a homeowner would find it odd to have a squirrel in the neighborhood was a tad unbelievable. Other than ... Read More:

All I can say is WOW! this is one of the best films I have ever seen, none stop comedy from start to finish, especially in the character of clueless Morgan.
The whole muppet cat is magnificent. From this film I feel i have learn't a valuable lesson: the best thing about being a pirate is you don't have to wear a suit.

These days I refuse to watch most CGI movies, mainly because they can run them off a mill as many times a year as they want. For me, Toy Story 2 represents the pinnacle of Computer based films. Touching, funny, and even better looking than its predecessor, this is easily one of the greats from Pixar. I say this now because with such average attempts over the recent years such as Antz, Madagascar, and Cars, the 90's proved that its better to wait 3/4 years for a film that's quality, rather than a glut of lame attempts to cash in.

It sounds and looks even better than the video version of course (believe me, the colours are enhanced hundreds of times better than on the video) and should be bought with the original!

The Lion King...deep,moving,inspirational,and beautiful...not to mention hilarious too.
artistic and wonderful...an aweinspiring Disney classic.
my #1 favourite Disney film of all time.
the songs range from hilarious to moving.
the artwork is at its very, very best and shows the sheer beauty of Africa...and the animals of the wild look so very realistic.
its an incredible masterpiece of a film...and demands more than 100 viewings.
a sheer beautiful class act from the Disney studios...and by far the most breathtaking film i have ever seen.
seriously.
