The 6th season of Larry is quite strong, better than the previous two. Here Larry gives in to Sheryls suggestion that they house a family made homeless after a hurricane. The Blacks arrives, and this gives rise to so many misunderstandings, insults and plain weird things to easily fill up a whole season where we follow Larry on his hopeless quests. If you liked earlier seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm, you wil probably like this. Also, if you're a fan of Seinfeld (I am) I think there is some 50% chance that you will love this and recognize the creative mind behind it all. Some Seinfeld fans don't like Larry at all, but I can't help noticing that he is a combination of Jerry and George Costanza, in one person!

...but these dics just plain suck. They lock up permanently, I can't access the main menu anymore and my players freeze all the time. These are the only dics that have that problem. Might have something to do with my players ability to memorize the last play, which unfortunately I can't even turn off and it can be circumvented by playing a bunch of different DVDs to clean the cache of the players, but still it is annoying and frustrating. Great show, but they did something to those discs that makes them almost unusable.

Priceless (original title "Hors de Prix") is a very run-of-the-mill comedy. Pretty much everything about it can be classed under the general category of "average". There's nothing wrong with the film - the actors do good work, the locations are flamboyant and the idea behind the plot is quite original. If that sounds like a list of ingredients to you, that's good, because the film feels like it was from a recipe found in a book, lacking the inspiration that would have been provided by a good chef, or director. A categorisation of light-hearted, rather than comedy, would be better for this film. I don't see how people can be permitted to write reviews of products that haven't been released yet. But since I can... I think anyone who likes Jimmy Carr over Sean Lock should think twice before publishing opinions which other, more discerning individuals may be influenced by.

I remember going to see this and I actually cried with laughter. It's so random and silly, you can't help but smile. We need to watch out for these villages eh? I'll be keeping an eye on my neighbours in future. ;) I remember a few people criticised it and said it was completely pointless with no solid plotline whatsoever, but I believe that is the whole idea. It's not meant to, because that is the style of these actors and writers. However, that point cannot be applied to Run Fatboy, Run and Shaun of the Dead, as they did have a central storyline. The fact that Hot Fuzz appeared so spontaneous was what made you laugh. I found this DVD game to be a lot of fun. Yes, it can be frustrating when you accidently stumble into a cul-de-sac by giving a correct but boring answer but if that is enough to frustrate you perhaps you should instead go to bed early with a milky drink forthwith .... Play along, learn, laugh and enjoy.

I am a huge fan of all comedy programmes and i have to say this is definately up there with my favourites, ok its not exactly very mature (though it does raise interesting issues, honest) I have always loved it, and was abit worried as to how this would work with johnny.. So i was a little put off to watch it. Then i saw they were doing it live! Which appealed to me so i switched on, and it was magnifecent! They pulled off some pretty damn good stuff! So i continued watching the whole series and i loved it as mush as the other series, Gaz and Janet actualy make a great couple, and the new character isnt too bad. Dont let the fact that johnny isnt in it put you off, give this a try and see what you think, because i think its great and so should everybody ... Read More:

Ok, so series 2 isn't quite as funny as series 1, but come on, when you look at the total rubbish on TV at the moment, series 2 still stands head and shoulders above the rest. The first series was always going to be difficult to beat, but this isn't far off, and there are plenty of laugh out loud moments and near wet yourself before you get to the toilet scares to keep all Green Wing fans happy for hours. Some of the reviews for series 2 have been very harsh indeed, and totally unjustified. Bottom line - if you enjoyed the first series, you WILL enjoy this too - I promise!

The concept and the plot lines were funny and unique. The contrast between the working family and the ultra rich one, the ending where she chooses to have a life where she makes a difference instead of just wasting time, and he values her as she deserves to be valued in the end. There are parts of the movie that could have been better; some of the supporting roles were not done all that well. The rich woman's mother was great, Roddy McDowell was great, and the rich self-centered husband was funny. The movie was good family entertainment. Good for you, Goldie and Kurt.

It's kind of absurd that a lot of people take comedy so seriously. Tim's crtitics seem to be this type of person. Just because Tim doesn't do thoughtful, poignant commentary on life and social ills, doesn't mean he's any less funny. Humour has many styles and Tim has carved out his own unique style. If you can imagine a cocktail of Harry Hill, Tommy Cooper and (scarily), a touch of Victor Borge, you're kind of in the right area. Importantly, Tim doesn't take himself too seriously and he knows it's not deep humour. But to then say "anyone could do it" is doing Tim a huge injustice.
