I've seen this movie several times now and I'm still fascinated by it - I'm no particular fan of George Clooney or the Coen brothers or Bluegrass music (or even of Homer), but this movie is so cleverly constructed and well acted, with multiple threads that hang and re-cross throughout the story, that each time I watch I see a connection I missed in previous viewings. Reading the other reviews I guess I must be the only ageing Blues fan out here - but Robert Johnson must be up there (sorry, down there) somewhere, smiling if he's seen it.

When I first watched Frasier I didn't think it was anything special but my best friend told me to give it a chance and I would love it. So I did and what can I say this has to be the funniest sitcom to ever come out of the U.S. After watching a full season I knew I had to have every season. If you were like me and you are bit sceptical of Frasier don't believe me you wont regret it.

I bought this DVD for the kids to watch in the car during a long drive on holiday in France. I notice that all the other reviews are concerned with the quality/editing/dubbing etc, however my review is aimed at parents who need to keep their kids entertained! My children are 7 and 5, and they laughed for three solid hours. I don't know about other parents, but I was dreading the long drive, however the drive was a pleasure with this DVD playing. It was an unbelievable hit with them and they just loved it. It made for a very harmonious drive through France as we couldn't help laughing at the kids laughing in the back. A brilliant DVD that has become our children's favourite DVD of all time.

Having gone through the excellent series 1, 2 and 3, series 4 felt somewhat strange. I was feeling that something was missing. Christmas special 1983 was really the missing link with series 4. The 1985 special could have been another episode of this lovely series but still top marks to both.

This set of three Peppa Pig DVDs is absolutely fantastic! There are 32 episodes as well as two bonuses, short "lessons", one about counting and the other about colours. My 4,5-year-old finds these episodes a great laugh and I'm happy that some of them actually "make a point" in a very positive way, for example about recycling, eating veg or how silly it is to be scared of spiders :). I noticed that some episodes don't feature the voice of the "original" Peppa, but my son hasn't noticed this at all, the "new" Peppa sounds so similar.

This series of Friends is probably my favourite....Because you get to know all the characters individually, you then get to see in time them develop as a group and as couples. This reflects on a lot of real life situations. As a DVD I was impressed, you do not end up with 8 dvds with 4 episodes on a disk, instead they are double, in a very thin easy to store case. When it comes to the extras, This dvd is a NEW DESIGN, ALL series were previously released with extra scenes, and a lot of extra footage..how do i know this? I have them ;) they re-released due to the fact the extras were limited time only in the exact packaging, but with extra footage. There are funnier things than Friends on television, but nothing as long-lasting and consistently funny. In Season 8, the acting and directing (as well as visual quality) have improved from the early series, whilst it has lost none of its inventiveness and sparkle. The season kicks off right after Monica & Chandler's "I do" and with the finding that Rachel is with child. Her pregnancy comes up in all 24 episodes. From the identity of the father ("Oh no- don't tell me it's her!"), to the possibility of marriage ("What, because that's your answer to everything?") and breaking the news to the parents (I particularly loved Rach explaining to her father why Ross won't marry her: "He says I'm damaged goods").
