Jimmy Carr is the ultimate comedian. Nobody else can pull off so many one-liners, rip into hecklers or shave closer to the funny bone than Jimmy. Anyone with even a vague idea of how comedy works will appreciate just how good he is.

First a word of warning: this is not comedy for the easily offended. This is not family-friendly. As Jimmy himself states on the box: "It's rude, crude and offensive but those aren't the only reasons you'll enjoy it."
He's right, too: beneath the risque jokes and smutty humour is a comedic sensibility and intelligence handled by a professional whose tongue is sharper than he dresses. Jimmy knows what he's doing, knows how far he can push it, and takes great delight in seeing his audience squirm. ... Read More:

I enjoyed this film a lot.
The story is relatively simple. A schoolgirl gets pregnant and decides to put the baby up for adoption.
She happens to be a wisecracking smartass, perhaps enough to be really annoying. In fact she seems such a know it all you wonder how she got herself into this trouble at all! However the film makes it clear however that Juno, depsite trying to be uber mature, is still just a girl.

Have no doubt, this is a "feelgood" film.
Nearly all the characters are basically decent people and the plot is tied up perhaps too neatly. The development of Juno's relationship with her step mother would nearly bring a tear to your eye alone.
The different storylines in the film are combined well together ... Read More:

Loved it and you will too if you take it as it comes!! Nothing serious about it, very well acted, and naturally the hottest british actor of the moment is excellent in it! The best thing about this is the american british clash and love hate relationship!! As many british sterotypes as there are american ones!
Would make anyone's Christmas Holidays brighter!!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!! I recommend hands down lol
Go on have a laugh this Christmas!

I'm pretty certain if you're looking to buy this, you're not a new-comer to the series, so I won't break it down for you - so many reviews on each season for pick from, I won't bore you. Course if you are a new-comer... sorry. Simply reason for this review, is to tell you exactly what you're getting from this instead of the individual boxsets. Firstly, space-saver. Sounds stupid, maybe, but for those that are racing up 100s or 1000s of DVDs, it's a valid point, (yeah, that would be me, of course) and it is a growing problem. Secondly, you get extras that weren't on the originals, though flipside, if you have the first edition of Season One, (the 'format problem' one in the red case), you miss out on the extras on this, if you're swapping/up-grading). The extras ... Read More:

I beg to differ with the other reviews of the Extras specials.
This 90 minutes episode is full of "special guests" and it can be very slow to watch , I remeber watching it and thinking , this is slow.
RG's character gets a rather bad run of luck and it looks all far fetched.
In the end they try to wrap it up quickly and give a nice ending but without the effect of The Office ending ( which was much funnier )
For £13 this is a total rip off , you can buy the whole IT crowd series 1 which is a thousand times better and far less hipped.
There are some good moments mainly due to Steven Marchant.

Like most Rowan Atkinson Fans, I've been waiting too long for the UK DVD release of his one man show, filmed back in 1992.
Although it is 16 years old now, there is still plenty to laugh about. Rather than been a general "stand up" comedy show, the show consists of different well planned sketches, which show Rowan Atkinson at his best.
As you would expect there is plenty of physical comedy, such as the 'first date' sketch and 'the invisable man', which are both hilarious.
But if physical comedy is not for you there are plenty of "spoken sketches too, including the one where he tells Angus Deayton that he beat his kid to death at school.
This is comedy at his very best, something that people of all ages would enjoy. An ideal gift for Christmas. ... Read More:

I came late, but I am now an ardent Dibley disciple. Dawn French is delightful as the chocolate devouring, incurably romantic, caring and careworn Vicar. She attends to a tiny community of brilliantly barmy and quite certifiable characters, including her fabulously gerbel-brained verger Alice Tinker.

The scripts are crammed with deliciously fruity exchanges between the characters, showing off first-rate ensemble acting and many set pieces of virtuoso silliness. Particularly great is Roger Lloyd Pack, who glows with pungent pride as a farmer with better-left-unseen tendencies, and who develops an insatiable lust for Geraldine (the lovely lusty Vicar).

This entire series is a comedic marvel. So get the chocolate in and enjoy some brilliant TV. To ... Read More:

Family guy started off as very good, but since season 4 it has gone very much down hill & this season now with more swearing, not really necessary, containing this is a new low, to me does not count as humour, there are some amusing moments, hence my 2 star rating, the Gene Kelly scene which was done very well cleverly, replacing Jerry the mouse with Stewie, but overall this cartoon, like The Simpsons, is running out of really funny, sarcastic, jokes, for what I would call toilet humour, which we are getting far too much of nowadays, & when you reach this you are finished. I will buy season 7, to see if it has improved, but only at a good price & I will not rush into buying it, but overall stick to seasons 1,2 & 3 for the best of this series anyone else agree ... This film has to be one of if not THE best Disney film there is. The story is great, the voices perfect, the songs brilliant! My favourite song from Aladdin is probably Friend Like Me but that's because I love Genie. However, all the songs are great in this film, there's none that you roll your eyes to because Disney have that great way of including a lovely slowie into a film but still having the humour there (like with A Whole New World).

Loved this film when I was little and chuffed now that my littl'un loves it too. Great fun for family viewing and still funny for adults!
