Cheesy, corny and totally daft but really enjoyable all the same! The first movie is the best of the two but both are easy to watch, fun and the music is pretty good too.

I'm gonna stick my neck on the line here now and state that I feel Clive Owen is just about the best actor doing the rounds today. I think it's got something to do with the fact that he doesn't seem to have any kind of personality whatsoever and so is therefore able to offer up a blank canvas and allow you to impose your own emotions to his performance. Enough with the new age tedium, the movie dammit!

Children Of Men is adapted from a PD James story and set in the not too distant future where untold ecological disasters have had the cumulative cause of rendering every woman infertile and thus no children have been born for many years.

Society is crumbling and the iron fist of fascism rules the roost in what some see ... Read More:

In Tarantino's third film, Pam Grier stars as Jackie Brown, who is arrested for bringing illegal money into the country which ultimately takes her into a case involving one of her close friends, gun dealer Ordell (Jackson).

Once again covering the crime genre, Tarantino brings the characters and plot to life with cutting edge direction, and specific writing in a great portrayal of the crime world.

A lot of crime films focus upon action and car chases at every possible opportunity but this crime drama exploits the more specific details of what gun dealers and police are like with the unnecessary action. In admiring the realism of this concept, it does last for the entire film with hardly any action and can trail off waiting for ... Read More:

Seven is a great film but in my humble opinion, I find it to be overated. Yes, the murder scenes are amazing and the acting from Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey is brilliant, the film takes too long to get going and as there are 7 murders and the film is over 2 hours long, this means alot of the film is wasted with unessecery scenes. Seven would have gotten 5 stars if they had cut the running time by 20 minutes.

Hitchcock always used to say that he saw no point in adapting an excellent book for one of his films because if a novel was so good, what could he do to improve upon it?

As a result, in the 80 years since it's release there must have been a lot of disappointed people who have bought John Buchan's book on the strength of this film. For all intents and puposes, Hitchcock's version has become the one that all the others are judged on.

Robert Donat is superb as Richard Hannay, a man who ends up on the run when a spy, whom he had only met that evening, ends up dead in his flat. Hannay ends up fleeing to Scotland, determined to pass on the message about the 39 steps.

Along the way he picks up Pamela, another superb turn from Madeleine Carroll, ... Read More:

I saw this film as a child when I was about 5 and we taped it so I watched it many times before it wore out and then I just forgot about it.
Now 20 years on I was buying the Wizard of Oz for my two children when I saw this and I couldn't believe it, even the cover brought back memories of the film. The dvds were a christmas present but I couldn't wait so as soon as they arrived, I sat down with my son to watch it and it was just as good as I remember, it took me back to my childhood again.
I should mention that it is a little scary in parts, it might not be suitable for those under 7 ,but is a must see kids dvd that was very underrated, its not as sugary sweet as the wizard of oz but I think its a better interpretation of the books.

If you havent seen any of the previous CSI series the question is why not? This is not just another crime or cop show. In many normal shows it will show you the police investigation the apprehention of the suspect and maybe even the trial. However this dives right in to the heart of the investigation tells you how a conclusion has been reached and the ever expanding knowledge of the CSI's to try and acheive justice.

Set around the spectaular city of Vegas it will not only entertain you but fill you in on the secrets and many of the discoveries made by scientists in the last few years.

The best thing about the dvds are you dont have to sit through the ads. This part contains two of the best episodes so far as the season finale. Not only is one of their own in ... Read More:
