My Dad had shown me a few of the Pink Panther films when I was little, and when I got The Pink Panther (2006) on DVD, it was only natural that I'd go on and buy this, and I wasn't disapointed. What you get is 5 Pink Panther films featuring Sellers; The Pink Panther, stars David Niven as The Phantom, who sets out to steal the Pink Panthern Diamond. It is up to the bumbling Inspector Clouseau to stop him. This film is weaker than some of the others in the series and has a distinct 60's feel to it. A Shot in the Dark, finds Sellers in the lead role trying to solve a murder. The action and comedy is much stronger than the first film and this is reguarded as one of the better one. This film has picked up a few kickings on the message boards, which I feel is unfair as it a decent effort. Anyone who has sat through ghastly British horror efforts Severance & TheCottage knows how bad we can do this stuff, so I thought this felt pretty fresh. There is no all-powerful ScaryPsycho figure, with human-skin mask & zombie-walk. Like Fargo, this film is about what happens when things go wrong. The sex is genuinely sexy, the drug-taking plausible. OK, the violence is a bit genre but hey, this sort of stuff doesn't really happen. Unless you're a lorry driver. This film has a very similar feel to the first movie. It moves at a similar pace and the story is just as mediocre. Its not a bad film by any stretch of the imagination, in fact, when in a certain mood I can happily watch this movie and enjoy it. However, just like the first film, it is nothing special but just about keeps you interested enough to watch the next installment. I like fantasy and escapism movies and although this is not as good as the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy or as funny as 'stardust' ... it is still better than others such as the terrible Eragorn. If you like the first film, even just a little, you should like this aswell. Slightly above average movie.

I've seen this movie several times now and I'm still fascinated by it - I'm no particular fan of George Clooney or the Coen brothers or Bluegrass music (or even of Homer), but this movie is so cleverly constructed and well acted, with multiple threads that hang and re-cross throughout the story, that each time I watch I see a connection I missed in previous viewings. Reading the other reviews I guess I must be the only ageing Blues fan out here - but Robert Johnson must be up there (sorry, down there) somewhere, smiling if he's seen it.

I love CSI Miami. While the others in the franchise (Las Vegas and New York) have both long since reached their plateau of interest and jumped off the other side into entertainment freefall, Miami continues ever upwards to greater heights almost unchallenged. Why is it so much better than the others though? Well for a start they've only really bothered to tweak the formula with this one and so there is much more action in a typical 'Miami' episode that an entire series of 'NY'. But for the most part it is the appallingly bad acting by David Caruso that makes this show so damned watchable! I was bowled over by this series. I'd never seen it on TV until I bought it in Thailand (yes an offical copy too). The Thais love the series too right from my 60 year old Uncle to my 2 year old Daughter. This show could run for years.....

Ok so you know the story but this movie does not date. I know kids of 6/7 who watch this film and still love it. Timeless classic quality. A must for anybody!!!!

This film is not a very famous disney, however it is one of mine and my sisters favourites! Funny, happy and tear jerking, this film is fantastic and a classic that can be watched over and over again.
