This series kept up its high standards for production, acting and script right from the first episode. It's been clever and entertaining, and unlike crime series in more modern settings (e.g., CSI), has been very human. The settings have seemed very accurate as far as the war years -- I can't say since I hadn't been born yet -- and the situations between the characters are very interesting. I'm sorry to see the series end with these final episodes and can only hope that the producers might bring back the characters in a new series, say, Foyle's Peace?

Ignore the poor reviews! Jon Foster's review for Amazon is spot on.To say that JD needs a psychiatrist is very childish.

If nothing else, I encourage people to buy this film just to admire and marvel at the sheer brilliance and remarkable finesse with which Cotillard portrays Edith Piaf. Her acting throughout is simply exceptional and in a class of its own. Such talent is rare and one of a kind! Great also if you like Edith Piaf's songs. Cotillard certainly deserved her Oscar and Bafta! 10 Stars just for her acting!

Massive Scrubs fan here. Seasons 1-3, lifechangingly awesome, Season 4 funny but more deliberately "whackier", more cutaways etc, and by Season 5 the show had become sillier and patchier, but with enough funny writing and good episodes to get away with it. Then Season 6... So bad I almost gave it one star. Only a few episodes (My Musical, Their Story) saved it. The one-liners and snappy interplay are gone, and a lotta the actors look bored. The whole show just ground to a halt and stopped being funny. Clearly affected by doubts over its future, there is little here to suggest anyone involved is switched on further than autopilot. I was actually going to buy a different exercise dvd but the good reviews for this one swayed me. The instructor is really pleasant (I havent heard of her but shes in that sexy 80s style call on me video) she is good at instructing and from the warm up onwards you will get a really good exercise session. There is a lot of bouncing around (in a dancy Ibiza sort of way) so if you live in a flat the people downstairs may not like you too much! But I would really recommend this workout - its taxing but you do feel like doing it regularly - honest!

I don't care what anyone says about this movie...it's nothing if not entertaining. The special effects are great and it certainly has the cool factor. OK, so there's the odd hole in the plot...but so long as you can overlook that then you should enjoy the movie. It's obvious there's going to be a sequel...

Cold Feet was one of those shows that I had heard a lot about but didn't get the chance to watch it on tv, so when I saw all five series going for £20 I thought I would take a chance and buy it. I can now definatley say that I am glad I did as Cold feet mixes heart breaking drama with very funny comedy. The series follows 3 couples ups and downs over a number of years and over a number of troubles including Cancer, divorce, abortion and a many other topical issues. But the great secret to cold feet is that it handles each of these issues with great humour. The series also has a great cast and this is shown as each of the actors has gone on to greater and better things. and i got what i expected, the story vaguely picks up onto the end of the apocalpse, and the opening of this film, uses scenes from the first film to very good effect, and i have to say was one of the best bits of the whole film. After that though, sadly it goes down hill, the story kinda bolted onto the end of the existing films, by a 2 mins cgi globe and alice talking about how the t-virus has wiped almost everyone out. It joins alice on the road going to help some survivors, and lets just say thier game backfires. The film also focuses on some of the people you will know from the second film, (although not jill valentine surprisngly) who have to hit the road and are searching for survivors as well as a safe haven, this is led by claire redfield, ... Foret 24 or Lost or ANYTHING that's ever been on TV, video/DVD or in cinema. The Shield simply is the BEST THAT'S EVER BEEN FILMED. Also I have never seen a series maintain its high quality over six seasons. Although not as intense as season 5 - my personal favorite DESPITE BEING CUT - season 6 rocks. With Whitaker down Chiklis must face his worst enemy who is within the team. Season 6 starts out slowly, but strikes hard. A MUST BUY! I don't know whether the UK version is cut or not, but I bought it and watched it, and didn't care if it was cut. Everything you need to see is here.
