Well, it was fantastic seeing K9 for the first time again! Actually K9 Mark I, he remains with Leela at the end of The Invasion of Time. Are we keeping track? There will be a quiz in time to come!!
Anyway, down to the fault on the disc. The episode should end with the Nucleus re-materialising to normal size. Unfortunately, the scene in which the Doctor & Leela banish him from the Doctor's mind appears immediately after the previously mentioned scene!
End of the world, I think not!! Live with it, though I have been sent a replacement, which I am yet to receive! God bless the postal service!!! & do hope that the scenes will appear in the correct order!! Fill you in later about that!! Buy when you can & enjoy. As for K9 ... Read More:

A warning: It seems that the BBC has been cheese-paring and, as a result, the disc 5 extra included with the blu-ray version of this excellent series, entitled 'Natural World', is not at all the same as the disc 5 extra included with the standard DVD version of the series. Let me explain: Disc 5 of the blu-ray version, entitled 'Natural World', contains two separate documentaries; one entitled 'Desert Lions', and the second entitled 'Snow Leopards'. These two middling documentaries, also narrated by David Attenborough, although certainly watchable, do seem rather like an add-on, almost to fill space. In my opinion, they fall well short of the outstanding viewing quality of the main series, as shown on the first four discs in this five-disc box ... Read More:

This DVD (from the BBC series) is truly stunning. It grabs your heart from the first minute and doesn't let go until the end and beyond. It is the story of a female tiger in India and her 4 cubs (2 girls, 2 boys) from when they are 10 days old and we follow them through babyhood, adolesence and watch them as they make their first steps to becoming independent. Most of the filming is done by "trunkcam" which are log shaped cameras that elephants carry on their trunks as they wander through the jungle. The cubs don't seem at all phased by them and indeed are sometimes so intrigued that they get so close that one trunkcam ends up submerged in the pool and being tossed around by an over excited tiger cub!

The DVD is a story, narrated by David ... Read More:

I'm a big fan of the show, but series 4 and 5 were really quite disappointing. Series 6 is much more consistent - each episode contains several genuinely funny gags, plenty of crude humour and even a little quality satire. Still not as well observed as the first three series but a decent return to form.

DVD : The Complete Matrix Trilogy [HD DVD] [1999]
Hi, i've rewriten this review as my first one was a bit harsh but my main points still stand, i was looking forward to watching this trilogy in it's full HD glory but must admit i was disappointed with the quality.

Compared to my standaed SD dvd's of the same trilogy scaled up only to 576i the difference isn't that great, in fact there's far more grain in the HD set and if it was scaled up to 1080i or 720p with a good upscaling dvd player the gap would be even closer.

But at the price it's well worth the money if you are a big fan of the matrix, if the price was that say of Blu-Ray though i would only give it one or two star's.

This film is indeed warm hearted and includes plenty of old fashioned American schmaltz which usually makes us cynical old europeans reach for the sickbag so it won't do for me to be over critical, and Jack Black's persona can usually raise a smile. Having said that the film can't make up its mind what it wants to be - it starts off with a kind of surreal quality and a cast of Care-in-the -Community oddballs (a la Welcome to Collinwood) which sees Black electrocute himself in a substation that he is trying to sabotage, and instead of dying like a "normal" person he turns himself into a magnet etc etc. But from this point on the film could almost have been produced by Disney, as the dummies morph into plucky underdogs and take on and win (sort of) against the usual ... All of the movies released so far are excellent. I see that other reviewers have covered the story line very well, so I will not. Just let me say that all are very well done, with minor imperfections. The main problems are only two. The first problem is that the books are so massive that pieces have to be left out, this is a shame but I do think that to make a 4 hour movie of these books would make them very tiring to sit through. I had thought of maybe making a part 1 and then 2 but this would not help. This boxed set is the single dvd version of each story, I would prefer the 2 disk versions personally. I have the separately released versions of each movie and am very satisfied with all. The second problem is the acting of the three principals. In my opinion Rupert Grint ... Read More:

What a fantastic comedy, Britain has been lacking a good heart warming comedy for years and now its here Gavin and Stacey,What a fantastic bunch of characters from Smiffy and Ness to Gav's mum and Dad, I bet everyone knows a family or a character they can relate to,I know i do!!!
Its the type of programme you can watch again and again and you will pick up on a few puns you missed before. Cracking highly reccomended and the 2nd series does not let you down just like the 1st.Watch it...

I am a MASSIVE fan of Desperate Housewives, but this was the poorest series out of the four they have done so far. I watched every episode and purchased the DVD and still re-watch them, but I wouldn't say it was a particularly strong series.

I'd say the first 8 episodes were particularly strong, not forgetting the sensational episode 'Bang!'. Despite it being in the midst of a weak series, it's by far one of the best ever episodes and gives me goosebumps at the end every time. But yes, the first third of the series looked particularly promising but from about Episode 10 - 20 it just went downhill for me.

I thought the seasons mystery was lacking the particular oomph the others had. Season 1 was just a huge puzzle, Season 2 finished with the unexpected twist.. but ... Read More:
